"Leave me alone, Mat!" I screamed. Knowing he could barely hear me from across the hall.

He was trying to kill me, we were playing The Hunger Games.

I was running, until I ran out of sprint. "No plz." I typed into the chat bar. He stopped for a second and stared at me. I slowly ate a raw pork chop, boosting my hunger up to 5. I started running again, pressing f5 to see where he was. The fool just started running, he was too busy watching a cow to notice me leaving. I chuckled to my self. I ran into a house and up the stairs, jumping out a window to lose Mat. It worked, I ran into the forest to hide and eat. I sighed to myself, knowing I was safe for a bit. A little bleep came from my phone, which was across my room on my bed. I looked around to make sure no one was around. And got up from my desk and went over to my bed. I picked my phone up.

'Got cha;)~Mat' I stared at it confused for a second. Then I heard some 'empf' sounds from my computer. I looked at it and saw Mat trying to kill me.

"NO!" I screamed and ran towards my computer. I could only get two hits in before he killed me. I slumped back into my chair and blew the pieces of hair out of my face. I sat there for a moment. Just spectating other people. The round was just about to end. Then, I had a idea. I smiled to myself and got up from my desk. I silently walked into the hall and hid around the corner from Mat's room. I sat there for a moment, then I thought of something better. I quickly got up and went into the storage closet outside of the bathroom. I rummanged around from a minute, then I found exactly what I need. Mat's halloween mask he wears every year to scare his friends in some weird way. I closed the door to the closet, and went back to my hiding place. I slipped the mask on and waited.

I waited there for about 5 minutes, god this death match is taking forever. I know Mat hasn't started a new game. He always goes to get food before a new round. Always.  Finally I heard a preaching "Yes!" from his room, and the sound of his chair suffing against the floor. His footsteps creaking against the wooded floor, getting louder with every step he took. I slowly stood up, keeping my cover. Once I thought he was close enough, I jumped out. He screamed like a girl.

"AHH!" Mat screamed. Then I went crashing to the floor. Mat his me on the side of my face with his phone. I whimpered a bit. Hot tears rushing down my face. I tried not to cry, but that really did hurt.

"Oh my god! Kris, are you okay? You scared the shit out of me!" He shouted, bending down and taking the mask off of my face. I looked up slowly to him, holding my cheek. He eyes were filled with guilt. He wiped off some of the tears with his thumb. He slowly picked me up bridal style, like he always did when we were younger, and carried me to the couch. He laid me down and went to the kitchen.

I winced at every touch. Mat came back with a ice pack in his hand. He slowly put it on my cheek, and sat down beside me. He looked at his phone, then me.

"Look, you cracked my phone." He said with a little smile. I know he was trying to make things better, but one look at the small crack and I knew it was from when he dropped it down the stairs outside of Denny's. I smiled and chuckeled a bit to make him feel better anyways.

"So, how bad is it?" He said. I raised my hand, lifting  the ice pack off. "Oh it's just a little bruise" He said with a small smile. I sighed, putting the pack back on my cheek.

My cheek felt numb, and cold. But mostly numb, from the ice pack. It had been a hour since I first put it on. It was getting late and I was getting tired. But I didn't want to get up. So I just reached for the tv remote and turned it on. Changing the show to a rerun of Pretty Little Liars. What can I say? I love this show. Anyways, I watched this. Until I fell asleep holding a stupid ice pack to my face.
