"Hello Friends! Who is winning in your videos of game?" Starfire asks the two competitive boys on the couch.
Cyborg and Beastboy merely respond with a dismissive 'fine' before putting their full attention back on the TV screen.
The redheaded princess sighs and pouts until she hears the inevitable sound of Cyborg suddenly yelling 'BOO-YAH!'.
"Hey! It's not fair, you cheated!" Beast boy says, standing on the couch glaring at Cyborg. "Not my fault you like birds" Cyborg replies, laughing.
Beastboy groans and makes his way to the kitchen, an irritated slump to his body as he dragged his feet.
"If you need me im gonna be making myself a sandwich" he grumbles out, disappearing into the kitchen.
Cyborg snickers.
The unmistakable sound of a swooping cape led Starfire to turn her attention to the door, already expectant to find Raven. With the barest nod, the titan enters the room and proceeds to sit on the couch, closing her eyes to meditate.
Immediately after her entrance, another voice comes through and catches their attention.
"Hey guys" Robin said, walking through the door and into the common area. He didnt stop until he was in front of his teammates, his face set into his 'I wanna sleep but there's a pressing matter so we have to solve that first' expression, complete with dark circles barely peeking through the mask.
"Yo Robin, anything new?" Cyborg asks, arm thrown across the top of the couch.
Robin shakes his head and sighs. "Nothing. The ball still remains a mystery"
"Aw man! They couldn't even try to open it?" Beast boy asks, chewing on his tofu sandwich as he exits the kitchen.
"No, they tried, but no luck. The thing is as hard, or maybe even harder, than diamond." Robin replies, making his team let out various sounds of upset.
"Well, it will do no harm to re-check the place of destruction once more, yes? Maybe there is something we have missed!" Starfire suggests, trying to lift the mood.
Robin hesitates, but eventually succumbs to the idea. It was all that they had.
"Yeah, I guess it won't hurt. But some of us should stay here, just incase" Robin states. "Raven with me. The rest of you stay here okay?" He says, the rest of his team nodding in agreement.

The sun was merciless as it beat down on the two heroes. Civillians passed by with umbrellas in their hands to get through the heat, multiple ice cream stands nearby booming with customers. The crater was in the same state as it was the day before, Robin wincing once they got close enough.
"Find anything?" Robins asks, starting to slightly sweat.
Raven shakes her head, frowning.
"Nothing, just loads of rubble" She replies, placing a hand on the cracked cement.
Robin and Raven slump their shoulders, ready to head back with no further discovery when a faint burst of energy hit the dark haired sorceress' senses.
"Woah." She says, bending down on her knees to feel up the ground. Robin turns around, furrowing his eyebrows at his friends state.
"Hey, are you okay?" He asks. "Yeah, but.. Someone's been here Robin" she says, rendering Robin confused.
"Yeah, I know.. The cops remember?" He says.
