ABSURD

Part 2

UGH.

My cheeks began to burn from the overwhelming embarrassment.

Thank you Boulevardye for welcoming me in such a great way. Huh *sigh

I dont know where did this big rock suddenly came. I ended up stumbled and fell into a puddle of mud.

" Aaaaaaah!" I cried.

Everyone stared at me.Huh

This is so embarrassing.

Like seriously why the hell there'll be a puddle of mud here.

"Are you okay? Told you to be careful..Hahaha You look errrr.. gorgeous with that mud on your face Hahaha " Anne insinuate me.

"uhh, it's not so bad." 

Anne handed me a box of tissue to clean my face.

I get up and walked along with Anne to her black BMW car.

While Anne helped me to put my luggage in her car, I turned around to see the place where I fell just now. Hoping that no one would fell at the same place I fell. And.. it was so strange because no puddle or either mud there.

Okay think positive.

"Lets go" Anne stepped inside the driver's seat

"Oh okay." my face still crumpled up with confusion.

Anne started driving her car driving and driving and... the roads were very wide and very deserted. We drove past a few small stores.

Boulevardye is actually was a nice little town. Each building had a cute signs and unique name such as LOCOLABA STORE and NUTELLROTIKAYA BUN STORE.
No large brand name stores.

" So, tonight i'll bring you to my friend's birthday party.." Anne started the conversation and break the silent moment between us

" Sounds great. I'll go with you. " I agreed with her plan. Maybe I can make some friends there.

"So this is your first time visiting my place, I'm glad you made it. I thought you  were kidding when you said you wanna spent your holiday here" Anne said as she turned the car to the  left way and came upon a zig zag road.

"Lol, I made it. Hehehe I miss you babe. Its been a years since you and your family moved here." I replied her with almost an excited voice tone.

Blablablablabla.. both of them talking, laughing, talking and laughing.

10 minutes after that..

The road led into a neighborhood. All the house are slightly big like a mansion. And forest of trees surrounded this part of neighborhood.

Anne pulled into the drive way of a cream coloured Victorian style house and it's a mansion size. Obviously a large size. Anne stop her car and turned off the car. In the swift of movement she opened the door lock and we step out from the car.

I take my luggage out and still admiring and observing the lovely house.
"Welcome to my house. I mean my parents house. Hihihi. Forgot to tell you that my parent are on their honeymoon. So, its just us and the maid in this room..and also my big brother. But no worry, i already told them you are my guest" Anne said while we came into her house. Its soooo wonderful.

"Thank you again. And it's okay. Honeymoon? Wow that was kinda sweettt . " I replied following Anne strolled down the hallway. Everything unfamiliar, new and look expensive. Well, Anne's dad and mom owned a big company. No wonder.

"Yes honeymoon. Haha last week is their 35 years anniversary. So, they went to France to celebrate it. And they will be visiting my grandma there. "

"okayyyy.. " I replied short.

Anne stopped walking and..

"This is your room. Make  yourself at home.. and anything just called me. I'll be there at my room. I'll let you rest.. so see you laterrrr " Anne showed me my room and also telling me that her room was on the left side of my room.

I step inside the room and wowwww this room were soooooo big and beautiful with the blue coloured wallpaper. Kind of calm.

I put my luggage down and I take a look at the veranda. It facing the street and  there is also a similar house in front of Anne's house.. with pale white colour compared to Anne's cream house.

All of sudden, I got the  feeling that there is somebody secretly gazing at me. A shiver ran down my spine and I instinctively looked the house across the street. It caught my eyes and I couldn't look away.

A silhouette caught my eyes attention as it moved across one of the front windows. I blinked to make sure I was still sane and not imagining things...

I am pretty sure someone definitely was standing in front the window. The curtains slowly closed, hiding any view I could get.

I stood frozen before I heard..

"June, get ready in 40 minutes. We'll go out!!"
