What seemed like a normal day for many, changed the lives and paths of two. Mrs. Horrocks welcomed everyone into the class, as they all droned the plain response of "Good morning Miss Horrocks" in a freaky simultaneous wave, accompanied with the retched sound of their blunt chair legs, dragging across the wooden floor. Everyone dreaded history with their ludicrous teacher with the dreadful puns and jokes, making everyone want to get up and leave with embarrassment. She thought she was hilarious and 'down with the kids' when in reality no one really wanted to be around her or even in her bland classroom. As she began to preach about something only a selected few in the class truly cared about, including herself, she was interrupted by a life-saving, fate-changing, knock at the door.

"Come in!" she abruptly shouted, welcoming the person and inviting them into the classroom. Miss Evans entered and all pupils were obliged to carry out the same procedure as they did before at the start of their hellish lesson. Trailing behind the head of year, with her head hung low, only looking up to brush her long fringe out of her tanned face and brown eyes, was Amy, a new girl they had all seen before. Everyone sat down once more in their uncomfortable chairs, as the chorus of scraping and murmuring began yet another time.

"You remember Amy, well, she will be joining you class again. This time, hopefully, for longer than she did previously" Miss Evans proclaimed, her face coated with a beaming smile. Nervous glances were shared around he classroom, as they had all heard different stories about this legendary girl, all as ridiculous as the next. No one truly knew what they could be letting themselves into if they became her friend. Amy was still standing at the front of the classroom as Miss Evans left and closed the door slowly and quietly, taking a good look at all the pupils in the room. Miss Horrocks talked to Amy in a quiet tone about what she had been learning currently in her previous class, and the rest of 8O were left to talk about the new girl among themselves. This is when Amy tilted her head in a puzzled fashion for a split second and locked eyes with Holly.

"She already looks just as weird as last time" Lian exclaimed, rather loudly "I can't see her making any more friends than she did last time. A grand total of zero!" she continued, her group of friends laughing uncontrollably at her truly shitty joke.

"Totally" Holly scoffed in untruthful agreement, still staring at the chocolate eyed girl, when in reality she was melting internally. She fell in love instantly and it felt like the cheesiest romantic film or book ever, or all of them melted into one giant pot of overwhelming emotions.

Amy had a known history of constantly flitting from class to class, as she had once been in 80 before this fateful day, so Holly knew she wouldn't be here for long. She had to take advantage of the little time she had, to get closer to, what in the spur of the moment felt like, the love of her life. The first time round Holly had seem nothing in the mysterious Amy as all she saw was an awkward loner that only had friends in other teaching groups. But this time, everything was different, yes she was still awkward and normally lonely but Holly fell in love. She isn't sure why, but will always know when. She kept staring at Amy in awe, her pupils slowly dilating, as her entire fate slowly fell into place. Holly drowned in the chocolate irises of Amy's radiant eyes, with the same chestnut coloured hair, flowing down her shoulders, intertwining with the random strands of navy blue fabric, cascading from her blazer.

Amy noticed Holly too. To her, she was unmissable. Tilting her head once more, Amy took a moment to admire everything about the tall, blonde haired beauty sitting before her. she was completely intrigued and confused by this magnificent girl staring at her from the back of the class. A sensation of confusion washed over her mind, completely ignoring Miss Horrocks, as she wondered why does se have her sleeves up, like she is about to go and wash some dishes. She chuckled to herself once more at this though but was brought back to the painful reality of a entire new class when Miss Horrocks said her name for the 4th time, louder than each previous time, and everyone stared. She'd embarrassed herself to the point where she literally wanted to crawl in a hold and die, or cry, or both.

"Go and sit next to Isla please" Miss requested, placing a piece of lined paper in her empty hand, pointing to the empty seat next to the unaware Isla "This will be your seat for the remainder of this year" she continued. Putting her head down, not daring to look anyone in the eyes but Holly, she walked to her seat, dragging her feet along the floor and balancing her folder and planner in one hand, attempting not to drop it all to avoid any further embarrassment. Everyone's eyes followed her around the room, like one of those creepy painting in the old museums. Isla looked over to Sam pleadingly, not wanting to sit next to this strange girl, while Holly would do anything for them to trade places. Miss Horrocks started to drone on once more about some time in history or whatever, no one really payed attention. Holly and Amy couldn't stop staring at each other. Lian kept noticing and would hit her lightly across the arm with her book whenever she caught Holy in a trance. She looks just as beautiful from the back Holly thought to herself, admiring every inch of Amy from every direction possible I bet Miss has an amazing view of her mesmerizing face she thought once more. A burning sensation spread across her flushed cheeks as she forced herself to look away. Looking down at her book, Lian whispered seriously "What is up with you today. You're acting really strange ever since that Amy girl walked in" Holly couldn't keep a straight face. "You don't love her" Lian continued, forcing Holky to look at her directly in the eye. There was no escaping her gaze "Do you?"
