The bus journey to college was awkward all I could hear was people talking about what Peter and Sam did to me and Stephanie yesterday, not sure how the news spread so quickly.
When we got to college it was no better some people just looked at us, Ted from my course came up to me he said "I'm surprised you both came in to college after what happened yesterday"
I just looked at him with a baffled expression.
"Well we weren't gonna let a bad incident like that get in the way of our education,can I ask how did the word of what happened yesterday get out so quickly" he looked at me bit awkwardly. "Well one of the policemen who helped you yesterday knows Peters family really well. He is a real gossip spreader and he knows almost a lot of college student parents who go to this college. There are also rumors going around that you and Stephanie seduced Peter and Sam and wanted to have sex with them, but you both lied that they tried to rape you just get attention" Ted spoke excitedly.
"Great I said how long is all this gossiping gonna last for" I said frustrated "I'm sure it will die down in a couple of weeks" Stephanie said in a quiet sad tone ted put his hand on my shoulder to comfort me and said in a soothing tone we better get to class.
