CHAPTER TWO
I reached for my back and groaned.
My back flipping hurts! Ugh. Stupid Principal and his stupid detention.
I cleaned the cafeteria until 8 o'clock in the evening.
Upon arriving at home, I met the same blue eyes I have, glaring at me with such ferocity.
She placed her hands on her waist and started bombarded questions at me.
"Why did you come home late?"
"Are you seeing someone?"
"What did you do?"
"Why do you look exhausted?"
I yawned, "Sorry nanna, I'm so tired. Can you just interrogate me tomorrow?"
She sighed, "Okay, dearie. Just remember to wake up extra early tomorrow, alright?"
I nodded and went to bed.
When I woke up, I immediately sprung from my bed and went downstairs to take a shower.
After drying my hair, I went to the kitchen and prepared ham and eggs for the both of us.
"Good morning, dearie," Nanna Isa greeted me, ruffling her black hair as she went downstairs.
She sniffed the air and smiled, "That smells good."
Flattered, I meekly said, "Thank you, nanna."
"Anyways, now that you're already rejuvenated and all, why did you come home at a late hour last night?" She asked me, curious.
"Well.." I started, not sure on how I could break it to her.
She tilted her head up to look at me. "Well..?"
I placed our breakfast in front of us.
Nervous and twiddling my thumbs, I told her, "I got detention yesterday..."
Mid-way through eating the eggs, she began coughing violently, shocked by the news that I brought.
"You got what?!" She exclaimed, surprised.
I bit my lip while staring at her wrinkled eyes.
"What happened?" She asked, still shocked with what I told her.
"Well.. Do you remember Melissa?"
She quirked her eyebrow. "The horrible girl at your school?"
"Yup," I said, popping the p.
Her eyebrows furrowed. "What did she do?"
"She made most of the people in the cafeteria throw food at me.." I looked at the ground.
"Why I-?!" She started, enraged.
"If she was the one bullying you then why are you the one who got detention?" She asked me, furious.
