Some hours later I awoke with a dull headache and to moonlit room, and Jeff asleep in the chair next to my bed. I tried to just lay there and go back to sleep, but something wouldn't let me, it was like all the nerves in my body were on fire, tingling and calling to me to get up.
It was hard at first, every inch of my body ached in pain, and it took everything in me not to cry out in pain, and that was just sitting up ! I slowly slid the blankets off of me and moved my pale legs to the side of the bed, and placed my feet onto the cold floor for the first time since I had gotten shot. The coldness of the mansions floor sending shivers up my spine, making the pulsing pain worse. I quickly stood up, hoping me not going slow would ease the pain, or at least make it less intense, but no such luck.
I stifled a cry and began walking towards the door, my small feet padding softly against the white floor. I put my pale hand on the doornob and turned it, opening the door out towards the darkness of the Slender mansion. The door creaked slightly, making my heart skip a beat as I looked back at Jeff with wide eyes, but all he did was stir, he was still sound asleep.
"That was close." Alera whispered in my head.
"You're telling me." I replied with a soft giggle as I closed the door with a small click.I followed the now familiar hallways till I got to my door, and with a wild grin I swung it open to see my room just the way I had left it, except the outfit I had been wearing was on the floor clean, and my katana's were laid across my bed, shining in the moonlight.
"Ive got to get back to feeling normal." I told myself as I crossed the carpeted floor towards my closet. I dug through my closet till I pulled out a silk blue dress with a floral pattern at the top, I let the nightgown I'd been wearing flutter to the ground leaving my body exposed. I looked down and saw a long, pink scar across my stomach as the memory of the searing pain of Luke's bullet filled my mind, leaving my gasping in the memory of the pain.
"Stop thinking about that Izzy, its not gonna do you any good." Alera scowled. I nodded in agreement as I slowly put on fishnet stockings, black lace up boots, and the blue dress on with a black velvet chocker. I looked at myself in the mirror with satisfaction, my pink hair had grown longer to the point where it was reaching my upper thighs, it had a few knots, but it appeared that Sally had kept my hair healthy.
"I almost look normal." I said smiling slightly,
"Almost." I added as I exited my closet and grabbed my katana's, running my fingers over the familiar Rose's engraved into the twin blades. I slid them into their sheaths and grinned wildly as I went back out into the hall.
