"Oh my gods that was embarrassing Jack!" I exclaim as we were just interrupted by his team member.
"Oh don't worry baby, bunny's fine. He has a new date every week thanks to binder, (A/N its like the bunny version of tinder) so if anything he shouldn't be one to talk" Jack explains.
"Still, I think we shouldn't since the moment is kinda gone...Hey so can you answer something, who is this Pitch guy you are all so worried about?" I change the topic.
"Well, since you changed the subject, Pitch is the darkness and is otherwise known as the boogeyman. You know, that guy that you have nightmares about, well he is real and he's back."
"Maybe if you have to go up against him, I could help to defeat him? I've gotten pretty good with my ice powers..." I suggest hesitantly.
"I mean it isn't really my concern, but if you are up to it and think that you can handle it, sure you can help us fight him. But I warn you, he will not go easy on you just because it is your first time against him." Jack agrees, but has a hint of agitation in his voice.
"Aw thanks baby, and don't worry, I can handle myself. And I mean I'll have you by my side if that helps to put your mind at ease." I add to calm a clearly concerned Jack.
"Yeah, that does help Els. You're the best girlfriend anyone could've asked for." Jack states as he pulls me into him and kisses the top of my head.
