JANICE POV
I have 3 things to tell you on how to ignore people who give an advertisement flyers when you walk in street to your work.
1. Wear black. Black is the color for intimidation. Intimidate those stupid people wasting paper-wasting trees.
2. Give them the –idontgiveathingaboutthosedamnflyers-look. Trust me. Its effective—I've done it like –one hundred times already.
3. Opps there is no number three.
So that's how you do it.
I clicked the save button and then erased them all. Urgh! What the heck. Really Janice? Tips about flyers is your weekly report?
What I am doing?
I asked my self. I lay-ed my head on the mattress. It's 2 a.m and I still haven't gotten an idea to submit as my weekly report. My boss will surely scold me. I've been searching the whole night but I haven't saw a worthy weekly report—or at least an inspiration. I brushed my hair in irritation. I know this is not the time to question my self. The most important thing is I find a weekly worthy article to submit tomorrow.
Oh, Why I applied for this job anyway? I shaked my head. I said enough of questioning! More researching!
I turned my head to the computer again when my phone started ringing—blasting the song titanium.
"What?" I asked—I already knew who is this.
"My princess!" He shouted, I urgently removed my phone from my ears. He is loud usual.
"Aw man, lower down your voice its freaking 2 in the morning" "and puh-lease can you not call me princess?"
"Why? You are my princess"
"Oh don't fool me ji yong-ah, I know you—since forever, you have a lot of princess—crawling in your bed, you fvcker!" I grabbed my pillows and lay-ed straight.
"Hey your language woman!" He said, showing his older brother tone.
"But its true!" I said. Real mature Janice real mature.
"Well—what can I do? I'm hot as fvck"
"Jerk" l said. I think he is like that ever since we are kids.
"but anyways babe, how are you?"
"You know its two in the morning right?" I raised my eyebrows even if he can't see it. I know there are more than just asking how I am.
"Okay you got me" He surrendered easily.
" I knew it, so whats the matter? You are in Africa right?" He will be staying there in 3 months because of work.
"Uh huh" He answered. I was jealous of him. I want to go to Africa too.
"Ok so what?" I asked him.
"I missed you"
"And?"
"Okay—I was just worried, I heard you got a job a month ago, and I was wondering if you are having a good time? you know like—no gagging or dizziness sort of thing?"
"Haha, real nice of you Ji yong-ah" I smiled. I got up from my mattress and stared at the ceiling. "I've been doing good, Actually I never thought that I would land on this job, It takes a lot of confidence when they interviewed me, and unlike any places there is, the building where I work isn't crowded with filth—i mean people—and that's why no phobia thing on me" I explained. My brother, Ji yong-ah is always worried of me due to what happened ten years ago—he feels guilty on that day—the day that give me a forever curse, a phobia, about crowds.
