Society has taught is to hide our emotions.
If we show our weaknesses, "we love attention."
If we hide our problems, "we're fake."
She cut her wrists,
he stopped eating,
she's selectively mute.
He was raped,
she was bullied,
he attempted suicide.
So many problems, so many people.
No one knows our problems, though.
We cover our scars with our hospital gowns.
Our skin is dry, our hair is mangled.
But we don't care, we no long have to try and fit in.
Because everyone fits in behind these white hospital walls.
