Levi

Rayn's POV 

"Hey." I say, as I plaster a fake smile across my face and walk up to Levi. Who is the best friend anyone could ever have. 

"Hey babe, what's wrong?" He asks smiling at first, but then pulling a frown as we walk down the vacant alley. He could always tell when I was faking, lying, and everything else. I swear he knows me better than I know me.  

"Nothing." I bluntly say.  

"You're lying. It's your boyfriend. What happened?" He stated angrily through gritted teeth. 

I turned so I wasn't facing him, and lifted my shirt revealing my cut and welted back. Belt marks. 

"Fuck. Rayn..." He sighed heavily woth sorrow in his voice. "You aren't going back home today. You are coming with me. I will go and get some of your clothes when that prick goes to work." He states strictly. My eyes widen in fear and I shake my head viciously.  

"No! Vi, you know I can't be anywhere but home... I know you hate that he does this, and I hate it too. But he will stop soon. I promise. He's just angry about the situation. I can't leave him, Levi. I.. I love-" 

"Don't even think about finishing that sick lie of a sentence, Rayn." He pulls me into a hug whispering soothing words into my ear and wiping my tears.  

"Rayn, I know you hate him. You think you love him because you think he is the only person you have, the only person who is there for you, the only person who loves you. Well you are thinking wrong. I am right here Rayn. You have me, I'm here for you, I love you." Levi says, staring into my plain, dark brown orbs as I look back into his green ones.

Levi's POV 

I stare into her brown eyes for what seems to be forever. 

"I'm not lying to you Rayn."  

"S-so you m-mean i-it..?" She stutters. A mixture of hope, sadness, and confusion in her eyes. 

"Yes Rayn. I mean it." I say, still staring into her eyes. 

"I... I love you too... Levi.." 

I search her eyes for any type of an emotion, but I see nothing. At all. Except for one thing..
