We grab as much stuff as we can and shove it into our backpacks then we hear uncle Dave's car pull into the driveway. "RUN RUN RUN!" I yell at A as we run outside into the car. "Hi girls!" Uncle Dave greeted us as he pulls out of the driveway and starts zooming down the road. "So what the deal about this?" I question Dave. "Do you know about the new vac seen for brain cancer? Well there was a sickness that nobody knew about and when you got the shot you would get sick for a week then turn into one... That's why your mom was like that...." He tells us. I get watery eyes. Why did mom try to kill me? I thought. "Where are we going?" Asked A. Somewhere safe for now...
"Shit." I hear him say. "What's wrong?" I question him. "The damn roads are blocked." He tells us. "We're gonna have to go around traffic...." "Well that's just perfect" A says. We go around traffic and we see all these people running all over the place and zombies are slowly chasing them...
When we get out of the city we stop at house. Uncle Dave's house. I grab out a knife that I found and hold it closely to me as we walk into his house quietly... Zombies walking all over the place.. I'm happy mom told us to stay away from her while she was sick now.... I'm pretty upset that my mom turned into one of them but I just don't really get emotional that much.. Neither does A...
We get in the house and we shut the door and push a couch in front of it... The windows were already boarded up.. I set down my bag and blooped on the other couch... "This world has became a madhouse." I say as I unpacked a blanket and a gun (my dad was a cop and he hid a hole stash of guns in the house for emergencys). I look in my bag... Canned food,gun, amo, knife, tiny pillow, blanket,a long sleeved shirt, pants, boots, and a jacket. A packed the same but some more weapons and food. "Ikr." A tells me. "Well you Guys get to bed.. I'll keep a watch out." Dave tells us as he walks to the window in the front of the house.i try my hardest to sleep.. I finally go to sleep about 20 minutes later..
