"Sky," My mother shook me awake, I saw a hint of sadness on her face, I shot up worridly.
Oh, I forgot it's drawing day. I felt my eyes begin to water, I mentaly slapped myself. I hadn't cried since terrorist took over. My mom was sick she had cancer but only stage 2. But now she has Stage 4 cancer. She's not going to make it. I allow myself a tear. I will admit I am scared. I sit up. I smile at my mom. "It's Going to be ok mom." I tell her.
I go wake my older brother Jerome and tell him to get ready and hug him. I bathe and get dressed in a White (our state color) and put my hair into a high ponytail. I look at myself. The bell rings. Today 50 kids will be sent to die. only 10 or less will survive. I turn go to my mother who will watch from the viewing area.
TIME SKIP TO THE DRAWING
I see Jason I run up to him and hug him. I love Jason, he the love of my life I don't care what people think about it. He might not like me but I love him with all my heart. "I love you Skylar." he told me.
"I love you too," a tear slipped my eye. What if Jason was Choose. To my surprise he bent down and kissed me.
"Wow, Did I miss something." I hear Jerome say, While the guys are cracking up. I see the girls walking up. I rolled my eyes.
I walked up to Lassie and Jocelyn and hugged them. I saw Lizzy holding on to Dakota. Dakota looked like he was determined to protect her.
Lassie let go and walked up to Adam and kissed him and hugged him. She started to cry. Oh no I felt so bad for her. She lost her Brother about 5 years ago. Lassie was a scary looking girl. She was a fire red head and had green eyes. Also she was decently tall unlike us.
Her brother was on Vacation on the day he was leaving he was stopped and put into the drawing. He was pick in. He was killed halfway though the game.
Jocelyn goes and kisses Ty and hugs him. She doesn't cry she just closes her eyes. Katy and Mitch are just talking. Jason walks up and kisses me again. He's almost a head taller so he had to bend down. I kiss back, Deepening the kiss.
" Hellooooo Everyone." I hear the drawer say. I sigh and take Jason's hand and go stand next to my brother (Jerome). Well lets begin she says. She walks to the computer and clicks the button. IT starts picking Innocent Children.
