Are perfect for each other
No one seems to like them
But it doesn't matter
Dark and Light
Wishing for a miracle
Hoping that they can surpass
Their impassable obstacle
They may be different
But they have lots in common
Their unconditional love
Is as strong as a diamond
Dark and Light
In a world of mist
Full of sadness and misery
All they want is peace
Shades of darkness
A touch of light
It is all about fairness
I know I was right
Shadows filled with sorrows
Seen behind the walls
Light comes and follows
Darkness now she calls
Years passed by
And now the battle begins
They knew this would happen
All they need is to win
One will succeed
One will be defeated
One will get the crown
One will be hated
The angel spread her wings
The demon did the same
They both fight in the battle
They both did their aims
At first darkness rises
Shadows filled an empty heart
Cold wars and combats
Fears from the very start
But the angel didn't give up
She knew she could win
She is just too scared
To lose her greatest love, him
She needs to win the battle
She needs to face her fears
Her obligation is to defeat him
Her eyes were full of tears
The angel won the combat
Fears were replaced
Light came upon them
Wars were erased
No worries, no pain
Hundreds rejoicing
No torture, no shame
Thousands exulting
The angel was so lonely
The people approached her
They said not to worry
Let the boy come closer
A path to walk
A gate to open
A key to unlock
To see the chosen
There she saw
A boy named Gray
He was holding a letter
He said he's leading astray
"My sweetest angel
Whenever you speak
Your words heal my wounds
Your voice makes me weak
I know this is the end
I know I'm going to lose
But wait until I send
A boy that I found, abused
He needs a guardian
The one who can see
The true meaning of love
Friends, couples and family
I will never forget you
The light of my heart
It is you my life I offer
It is you from the start"
The angel shed tears
And there she embraced
The boy with fears
It shall be erased
Dark and Light
Are perfect for each other
Their tenacious devotion
Will remain forever
