                          I just stared at the door though teary eyes after he walked out. The saddest part is that I actually agree with him. 
                          "Kat, just give him some time. This is a lot for him to take in right now. " Derek said and then patted my back .
                          I turned to face him. 
                          "How do you know that? Hayes was the first person to ever understand me Derek, I just want to go home."
                          I left the room and went after Hayes.
                          "Hayes, wait!" 
                          I jogged and cought up with him. 
                          "Leave me alone Kat" was all he said and walked into the elevator. 
                          I quickly joined him before the door closed. 
                          "You don't get it Hayes. I needed to do it! I was afraid. I knew you could do better, so I decided to leave."
                          He just turned to me and hugged me as if his life depended on it.
                          "I hate what you did but I never stopped loving you Kat" 
                          Those were the words he said to me before he leaned down and kissed me with so much passion to fill valentines day for 10 years.
