You woke up in Rogue's Corner as usual, your F/C pelt shining in the dawn light as you leapt off the dumpster you had slept on. "Hey Y/N!" Thorn calls form down the alley. "Wanna share this squirrel?" the flirty Tom had been crushing on you ever since you two met. It was completely obvious. You liked him, but love was too strong right now. "No thanks Thorn. See you later!" You race out of the large alley, pushing past bustling cats coming in and out, before he can reply, and onto the streets of the city. You decide to head for North Park. It was an old park that now was part of the forest, since it was abandoned, and the up-walkers were too lazy to demolish it, so they let it be.
You scented the air, ears perked, tail silently swaying from side to side, barely disturbing the leaves and grass beneath it, when you catch squirrel scent. *Yes!* You thought, your pelt bristling in excitement as you crept forward, climbing up the tree it was in. You followed the scent along the branches, and spotted the squirrel nibbling on a acorn. You waited, then leapt, but missed the squirrel and plummeted towards the floor. You land on your paws, thankfully, but your right paws was sprained. "Oh come on!" you hiss, ears flattened.
"Hello there." A smooth voice purrs from behind you. You whirl around, not having heard anyone come up behind you. "H-Hello." You purr back to the black-and-orange tom before you, green eyes boring into you. "And what's such a pretty little kitty like you doing out here?" he asks, circling you. Your fur brushed up slightly. He was handsome and obviously a smooth-talker, but one wrong move...and he was Crow-food.
"I'm Y/N." you reply unsteadily, eyes watching his every move. "Im Sol. Its great to meet you." he grinned, eyes bright. "You have a beautiful name by the way, Y/N." He adds, smiling charmingly. "T-Thank you." you had never been this tongue-tied before, and since when did you blush this much? "Would you like to hunt and walk with me?" Sol asks you, still staring straight into your eyes, and you nod, feeling your heart flutter as you stared back into his.
The two of you hunted for a while, chatting and laughing, getting along quite nicely. Sol says he has to go though, and asks you to meet him tonight. You, of course, say yes, and agree to meet him tonight in the Park. You excitedly head back to Rogues Corner, trying to avoid Thorn and think about tonight excitedly.
After a long nap, you padded out of the alley, trying to keep your fur flat and smooth.
You padded into the Park, and instantly spotted orange in an oak tree. You leapt up beside Sol and sat down. "Im Glad you came." he purrs, turning his gaze from the moon to you. "Of course. You asked so politely." You teased, and Sol chuckled. The two of you stared silently at each other in silence for a moment, when he leaned forward and your noses touched.
You felt your pelt and cheeks go extra warm, and your ears flattened in embarrassment, but you just smiled sheepishly at Sol. "I like you Y/N. I hope you like me too." he said hopefully, and you nod. "Who could resist you?" you joked, and he laughed. "Yes. I like you very much." you admit, and you touch his cheek with your noses. You were right where you belonged.
