Unknown P.O.V.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Beginning of school. After the fight.
I really can't believe what that Kayla left school. She's never ditched. Maybe I'll go ask why she ditched after school.
Kayla's P.O.V.
~~~~~~~~~~~

Present time.

I opened the door while looking at the ground so he wouldn't see my screwed up face. As soon as he stepped in, and I closed the door behind him I flung myself into his arms without looking up.

"Woah! Hey you're going to knock me over woman! What your deal?" He said with a certain sound in his voice that meant he was grinning. I don't know why but, when he hugged me back and I began to cry as much as I could possibly ever cry.

"Hey! What's Wrong Buddy?" Seth said causing me to look up at him with tears in my eyes dripping down my scratched and bruised face. When he saw my cuts and bruises he let go off me immediately and started to examine my wounds.

"Who did this Kay?" He asked after a long silence. I just looked straight under me to the floor.

"I-I don't want to talk ab-about i-it," I said trying to smile but failing to. "It's nothing."

"Hell no! This isn't nothing! Who did this to you Kayla?! Because, you definitely did not do this on accident!" When he started to yell at me I flinched at the anger in his voice. I started to back away from him because, honestly, he was scaring me. I'm not saying he's mean to me but, he is definitely an intimidating person.

"Christ-, Christina," I said in an almost whisper. "Christina did it." I started to walk into my kitchen and he followed asking lots of Why's and What's. While he kept babbling those two words over and over I made two bags of popcorn and pulled out a big bowl. When they were done popping I poured the bags in the bowl and handed him the bowl of popcorn and pushing him so he sat down across from me on the couch. I then finally interrupted his never ending What's and Why's with a stern face and six simple, easy words,

"Shut the fuck up. Now listen."

I started to talk, cry, and cuss while explaining to Seth the reason to my absence of school. After I had finished the whole story I told him about the text James sent me earlier.

"Well first off, I'm sorry. Second, she's a fucking bitch! Third, I'm sorry but I don't know what to do about the text."

"Well I do." I said with a seriously look on my face. He knew exactly what I was going to do. And he was ok with it. I feel a surge of confidence as I go up to my room and get dressed. 'I can do this.' I said to myself. I brushed through my hair and ran downstairs and put my shoes on while Seth did the same. 'I can do this." I repeated again to myself. We then proceeded down the block to a certain household. Once we reached it I said again to myself, 'I can do this.' I rang the doorbell while Seth stood guard by the sidewalk.

I heard clatter behind the door and someone fall. When they had gotten up, they then started to open the door and I said to myself one last time, 'I can do this!' When they opened the door I put on a brave half-smile and said out loud,

"Hey."

"Hey" They answered back quickly. With their hey, I was gestured to go inside by them. While Seth waited on the sidewalk still on guard.
