Meet Yuliana Mendoza.
She is like any other girl: loves shopping, likes boys (duh.) and any other likes a girl has. But, she also has something to hide from everyone, even from friends and family.
You see, she is a victim of abuse towards women.
She and her mom are the victims of Yuliana's dad, Alfonso. He had killed her mom, Anita, from his punches and kicks. Yuliana knows to never, ever forgive her dad to what he have done.
But, just because Yuliana is a girl, Alfonso makes it no better for Yuliana to forgive at least a tiny bit. For 8 years straight, Alfonso pratically made Yuliana his slave, forcing to do chores Anita did for him, (for he is a lazy bitch.) laundry, food, basically hard stuff. But the worst part is that Alfonso drank, so that made him more violent towards Yuliana.
She has tried to escape for 5 years now, but has failed, ending up severely beaten.
She won't be able to escape.
Not without a boy's help and standing up to abuse towards women.
