They lapped layer over layer. Crystal light, camouflage with the sky. It was painful. To think I had to kill all those poor souls. I loved it. I wanted it. I craved it. She needed me, there were only a few left. I'm not evil, I just am slightly murderous.
You must be so confused. I am too honestly, but let me explain. I am like a siren but I'm not a siren. I'm a water angel. What do water angels do? Well, in a nutshell we are regular people with extremely powerful beauty. We kill people on boats and feed them to the ocean herself. We stay young and blissful for two hundred years until we die.
I stared out into the abyss of blue. It was absolutely.... Fine. The wind bristled slightly whispering secrets I could not hear. The sun burned in a nice way, never had it be so perfect. My skirt ruffled, my hair blew and I just stood and thought. It's nice in my beach house, it's mildly big but not too much. My life was fine, I only had to kill people every now and then. Not very often. I only longed for one thing. Love.
I am technically not allowed to date because I might kill someone or I might get killed. I'm not like a siren where I'm not allowed to speak to normal people, I have to either hide my face or use magic to look different. I have a hard life, not really. Except the only thing I want in life is the only thing I can't have.
