Batman is owned by DC universe who first appeared in the Detective Comics, May 1939. Outside the suit is Bruce Wayne, a billionaire who also has his owns company. He became the Batman due to a childhood incident where his parents were murdered in front of him. Now he protects the city of Gotham with the occasional "partner", Robin.
