Re-Learning the basics

Author's note: I haven't got any vote ups yet, but I'm going to keep writing for fun anyways, thanks for reading!

I couldn't even see it coming. In the blink of an eye I was sucked into the game.

"Survival, great.." I muttered to myself. I'm only good at this with other people around to help. I figure that I'm stuck here, so might as well start with the basics. I go to a tree and try to get some wood.. but it's not as simple as before. How do I break off the wood? I punch the wood first.

"OWCH!" I scream, this is going to be harder then I thought. I try pulling at it, but nothing. I decide I should try to keep punching it, that helped. But wood is, well, wood.. so after about ten minutes I get my first block. Wow, talk about a hold up. When I finally get down the tree the first thing I do is make an axe. It was like heaven on earth. Making that axe, a whole nother matter. It took around twenty tries to learn how to craft, it's not drag and drop anymore, but I eventually figured it out. I build a tiny house, enough to hold a crafting table, a bed and myself for the night, but something else I forgot. A BED.

"Forget it," I think to myself. "I'll just lay on the ground"

Another interesting thing about being actually in the game, I can do things you can't normally do, like grab on to edges, and jump at differn't heights. I don't know if this will help me at all, but I guess I'll find out.

The sun was starting to go down and I still hadn't found a sheep. I looked around, but nothing. I did manage to find an npc village, though. I was able to talk to them, and they let me stay.

"Hey, I'm Chris." I said, introducing myself.

"I'm Bob, and this is Bob, and this is Bob, and this here, this is Frank" said the villager. Frank, being the butcher.

"Er, how can I tell you guys apart? I mean, your names"

Surprisingly, when you're actually in the game, villagers look like players, all different. That was nice.

"Here, call me Bob, this Bob Bill, and this Bob Gabe"

Gabe, forgot all about that. I have to get back to reality, right. It was dark, and Bill offered me to come over, and I gladly accepted. I wonder what tomorrow will hold.
