More coffee (it's not a date, shut up)

Sora does not admit she is nervous, but if someone asked she would admit that yes, she drank eight cups of coffee this morning. She would not reveal that the coffee still isn't the reason her heart is beating so fast. Or how long she stood in front of her closet, trying to choose clothes. Sora will not for her life admit she is getting so excited of what isn't even an official date. Just Yoongi wanting to show her his favorite coffee shop. Seriously. Anyways, Sora's brain is not known for trying to compromise and stubbornly believes that this is going to be the most important moment in her life (yeah, right). Ugh.

But after all a brain is kind of the thing that controls your whole being, and Sora realizes too late that she can't bother wearing heels. Because she is going to miss her bus. And she can't miss her bus as they come only twice an hour. Sora isn't sure if it looks good or not: a black, long sleeved, polo necked dress that reached mid thigh, with her iridescent platform sneakers (Those extra five centimeters make a big difference, okay?) (also she didn't buy them seriously, but they were the best she had) (don't judge). Maybe it could be passed off as a fashion statement.

Sora does luckily enough not miss the bus, but instead realizes when she is sitting on it that it's the wrong bus and why, why, why does this always happen to her!? She jumps off at the first stop, and takes a deep breath (doesn't help a bit really) before considering what she should do. Sora looks at her phone and notes that she is supposed to meet Yoongi in less than ten minutes (she needs to hurry her sorry ass up). Also, she notes that she has absolutely no idea where she is. Or well, the sign next to her reads something about a university. Sora decides to cross the street, to the bus stop there. Because surely then the bus must go back to where she came from?

She is right, but it takes far more time for her to go back than she thought (because the bus comes both only once an hour and late) , and when Sora is standing at her own bus stop again it's already fifteen minutes past the time she and Yoongi were supposed to meet up. However, the world feels some pity for her, and the right bus comes only three minutes after the other one leaves. It's even on time (and yes that needs to be in italics), and she manages to go off at the right station. And now the only thing left to tackle is the subway.

Which goes surprisingly well (except that it's too crowded for her to sit down). Apparently life is done messing with her, and when Sora leaves the subway station half an hour has passed since the official meeting up time she feels both relieved it didn't take longer and bad because it's taking so long. It takes another fifteen minutes to find the coffee shop Yoongi kindly have both given her the address and directions to.

When Sora finally enters it forty-five minutes past the planned time has passed, she is not surprised she can't spot Yoongi. Or she tries to tell herself she isn't. Sora decides to at least search through the coffee shop before she leaves, because it would be even ruder if Yoongi actually is here and she left him. She glances over the few customers in the shop. One with purple hair, one with green and one with black hair. However, she doubts that is Yoongi, as the black hair is long and luscious and belongs to a very feminine face that most definitively is not Yoongi's. Sora turns around to walk out of the store when suddenly someone calls her name (what). She looks over her shoulder, and there is Yoongi indeed. It takes her about two and a half second to see that something is very different about Yoongi since she saw him the last time. Sora's eyes widen comically in surprise, but nevertheless she hurries to the little table Yoongi is sitting at.

"Pink?" she squeaks in surprise, and Yoongi smiles sheepishly.

"Dyeing accident." he explains, and before Sora can ask a follow-up question or apologize for being so late Yoongi continues.

"You literally look really good today." he compliments her (Sora is not blushing).

"Thanks." she replies shortly (still not blushing) and Yoongi grins at her and it still makes Sora feel all gooey and melty. They chat about the cute shop after they have ordered their coffee util Sora notices the camera hanging around Yoongi's neck. She asks about it curiously and he explains he is a photographer.

"I am currently working on a collection." he explains, and shows Sora the pictures he has taken. Sora is no professional at photography, but she can see that Yoongi is good.

"It's nice." she tells him (that wasn't too forward, was it?). Yoongi grins (stahp) (seriously) and Sora almost forgets to breathe again, but luckily the cashier calls out their names as their coffee is done. That was a close one, and Sora decides to put all of her attention on the paper cup filled with black coffee (not like she would get distracted by Yoongi's smile again if she didn't. Shut up). Yoongi holds some pink and green swirly stuff that manages to tear her eyes towards it. She looks in confusion at Yoongi who is just as baffled, because she is positive that is not coffee. Which happened to be what they had spoken of the last thirty minutes (she had totally kept count of the. Sora did not get caught up staring at Yoongi's eyes and Yoongi's hair and just Yoongi overall. Nope).

"Oh." Yoongi suddenly realizes with a caring smile. "Hoseok is probably playing a prank on me again. That guy is literally the worst."

Sora tilts her head and looks up at him with an and-you're-not-planning-to-tell-me-who-that-is-or?-look.

"You can just wait here!" he tells her with another beam and stands up to walk over and then confront Hoseok (whoever that is). Sora glances out of the window at a park. It's spring and the cherry blossom trees are blooming making the whole city of Seol seem brighter. A kid flashes by the window on a bike that is way too big for him and Sora briefly wonders where he is going. She is pulled back into reality when she hears a camera flash behind her. She dashes around to see Yoongi standing there with his camera in one hand and a cup of black coffee, the same as Sora's, in the other.

"What was that for?" she asks him, half accusing and half smiling. Yoongi sits down in front of her and shrugs.

"You looked so peaceful." he replies softly and Sora flushes. Yoongi doesn't seem to realize it however (luckily). They proceed to keep up the conversation without any awkward pauses (Sora is doubting more and more that Yoongi is bad at socializing, introverted, awkward, boring or whatever else he told her when he introduced himself.).

In the end, Sora sees what time it is by accident, and Yoongi asks what it is, as the look of shock on her face is one she can't hide (imagine the look when you realize that the K-pop boys not only look better than most boys, but most girls you know too). She apologizes that she has to leave so suddenly, and explains hurriedly about the last bus that she has to catch. Yoongi assures that it's okay, and after spending too much time asking Yoongi is it really? she spurts out the door.

Sitting on the subway her thoughts drifts back to Yoongi (that guy just refuses to leave her alone) (ugh,  she hopes there isn't a mind reader on the train) (that would be embarrassing). Back to their identical cups of black coffee, and the way Yoongi jokingly noted how Sora managed to drink her coffee without spilling or spitting it out (as she did last time). Back to his bright eyes, filled with expectations when he held up his camera to show the pictures on it–and the pride in them when Sora stuttered a compliment. Back to someone Sora feels way too much for when they only have met twice (though she won't admit it).
