They woke up at the same time and decided to ride to school together "I hate Mondays" Maya whined as she parked her car .

"Oh you poor thing what are you gonna do about it"Bianca taunted "Sometimes I really hate you, come on get out of my car and get your butt to your complicating class"

"Oh please, law is more complicating I mean come on why do some lawyers always say 'I object' to something that makes sense" she asked as they entered the school.

"Because what the other person said was irrelevant or they were bringing personal matters to the jury" Maya defended.

"Whatever you'll just be my lawyer right?" She asked sheepishly "You know it who else will be able to bust you out of trouble"Maya said while playfully pushing her.

"How long is your class?" She asked "2 hours why?"

"Lets get muffins later" she said "sounds good I'll see you later "Maya said "Until then" she said before they both parted ways.

After a dreadful two hours they were on their way to the café, as soon as they arrived they ordered and sat down.

"I'm so hungry"she whined causing Maya to roll her eyes "You're too annoying for my liking" Maya teased they both laughed but she stopped when she saw a guy sitting at the corner of the small café wearing a brown leather jacket, a hat and black shades.

"Maya" she called out "Hmm?" "By any chance is that guy in the corner starring at me?" She asked nervously Maya looked behind and saw him .

"Yeah a few glances why?" "Nothing his a bit peculiar don't you think?" She asked "yeah he is" before either of them could talk the waitress came with their muffins,coffee and tea "Thanks" they both said.

Bianca was about to stand up and approach him, she needed to know why he kept looking at her, but he stood up abruptly and the walked out .

"Babe are you okay?" Maya asked her worriedly "yeah I'm fine", they sat in silence for awhile before they spoke.

"Enrique asked me to move in with him"she said with a smile "Oh my gosh that's so sweet,when?" Maya asked "This Wednesday" she said.

"who would've thought you'd be getting married "Maya said teasingly "Certainly not me" she said with a smile.

After eating Maya dropped Bianca at home and made her way home after. She entered the living room where she found her mom and Jack "Ma what's he doing here?"she asked irritated.

"Don't be rude Maya he only wanted to talk" her mother said disapprovingly "Well I don't care" she replied stubbornly .

"May please just hear me out" Jack pleaded "You have five minutes,then you leave" she said sternly.

"well I'll be leaving I have an appointment, see you later" her mother said as she kissed her cheeks.

"Bye ma" she said. Once her mom left she turned to Jack "Start talking" "Maya I want you back I lov-" "Don't you say it, why can't you just leave me alone!" She asked annoyed.

"I won't Maya, I'll do whatever it takes to win you back" "But I don't want you,....... I moved on"she whispered the last part .

"The kiss we shared proved otherwise" he said as he took a few steps until he was in front of her .

"Maya that day you walked into my office I wasn't in the right state of mind" " Not this again, come on Jack leave the past in the past, you slept with your secretary" she said angrily.

" She put something in my coffee Maya come on I-" she cut him off " Wow so now it's Nancy's fault, that's a low blow even for you Jack" she tried to side step him but he wrapped his arms around her " Damn it Maya! Please listen to me I'd never hurt you intentionally,I love you".
