New Year's Eve/New years day

I lay stiff, my rich duvet almost suffocating me. The thickness almost becoming overwhelming. Yet, I felt as if I were drifting. I could only describe it as lucid dreaming. Memories of Grayson faded through my mind, causing my heart to ache. Why do I always find my self casting back at him? Us? I could only define it as grieving.

Suddenly, I felt myself being slung into mid air. Forcing myself to fade away from my lucid state of mind. I sat up, gasping from shock. My eyes darted frantically, determined to find a source from my body jolts. My eyes landed on a pair of blonde haired heads, failing miserably from trying to hide at the foot of my head. I quickly identified them to be Matt and Hannah, then I bursted out with my annoying ass laugh. Which then was followed with Hannah giggling, but Matt being Matt, was ended with a booming giggle. Which left him gasping for air. Since I had arrived here everyone had tried their best to make me feel as if I fitted in, yet I could truly express myself with Hannah and Matt. I guess you could say we've all grown very close together, we had been nicknamed 'the three musketeers' by the others remaining who I had met. Everyone was pretty chill, we got along. Yet, I had an almost negative vibe coming from that Nash boy. His eyes told me he wanted to interact with me, yet it was like he was restricting himself from any interaction with me at all. It was almost as if he knew something I didn't, making me become weary when ever I'm near his presence.

"Oh my gosh, you hoe. Haven't you seen the time?" Matt joked, in a mockingly high pitched tone. Hannah laughed before adding. "But seriously, dude. Haven't you seen the time?" She giggled, hiccuping throughout her sentence. "Bitch, it's 1pm. Get up, lazy ass. We miss you." He mocked, following with him piling on top of me. His limbs wrapping themselves around my frame. While he shot me a cheeky grin. "Matt, get off of her. Lard arse." Hannah laughed, causing me to stifle my giggles using my hand to cup over my mouth. "Yeah, fat ass. Get off of me." I laughed, my mouth aching from smiling. Matt looked at me with a shocked face, his expression falling into a sarcastic 'offended' features. "Excuse me, how is my arse fat? The one with a fat arse around here would be you. Wait-" he tone laced with sarcasm, then falling into realisation with what he just said. This caused Hannah and I to burst into a fit of giggles, making Matt shift uncomfortably. His face turning into a deep shade of red from embarrassment.

I shoved Matt off of the bed, causing him to fall straight on his arse. Making the whole house shake with a 'thud'. "Can you be quiet? And get ready. The party starts at 7." My sister basically demanded, causing us three to groan. I began to get ready as the rest of us did.

After I dried my self off from my shower and dried my hair, making it go frizzy. I curled my long chocolate brown hair, making it lace with curls. Then I began with my makeup, applying my foundation. Adding a warm, sort of dark contour. Then I began with a smokey eye, adding hints of auburn within the eyeshadow making the green specks in my eyes pop. I then added my winged eyeliner, and finished off my eyes with a coat of mascara. I was blessed to have long eyelashes. I finished off my look with a nude lipstick, just a shade or two darker than my natural lip colour. I carefully slipped on my dress. Which was a black body con dress, that came up to the mid of my thigh. The straps were spaghetti straps, that started in between my shoulders and neck. Completing my look with black matte stiletto high heels. I looked in the mirror. I couldn't help but pick out my flaws. The only time I truly felt beautiful was around him.

A knock vibrated from my oak wood door. Shortly, it swinging open revealing the faces of Matt and Hannah. I noticed Matt studying me, shortly followed by Hannah nudging the side of his arm. Breaking him away from his day dream, causing him to go red. Hannah broke the almost awkward silence. "Deli, you look so-" "Beautiful." Matt cut her off, muttering while licking his lips. I felt my cheeks flush before walking downstairs. Hearing the two behind me follow.

The music blasted through my ears, the alcohol pumping through my veins. Intoxicated wasn't the word, I knew my limits. I could still function properly, I'd probably just have a light hangover in the morning. Matt, Hannah and I had been dancing along to the music. Letting loose, for once. In the corner of my eye, I saw Cameron smiling down at Emily. Making her smile back at him, before nuzzling her face into the crook of her neck. Causing my heart to break a little. Yet I smiled, hopelessly fighting away the jealousy. She has everything I've ever wanted, I just hope she doesn't take it for granted.

Overwhelmed, I excused myself to go to the bathroom. Where I most likely would break down, then come out acting like I'm completely fine and nothing ever happened, like I always do.

I grasped the handle, swinging the door open. Only to be met with him, Grayson. All over a brunette headed girl. His plump lips moulded with hers. One hand on her waist, the other on the back of her neck. I felt as if my heart had just been ripped out of my chest, then repeatedly stomped upon. Tears instantly welled at the back of my eyes, then falling frantically down my face. He looked up at me, his eyes looking confused then falling into realisation.
"Deli?" It was almost as if he had to confirm it with himself. My heart broke even more, if it was possible, my name rolled off of his tongue swiftly. As if I meant nothing to him. I stifled my cries with my hand and swiftly turned around. Running frantically to find Emily. I thought I knew what heartbreak felt like, but nothing could compare to this.

I fell into my sisters arms, I was a crying mess.
I sobbed into her shoulder, while she was confused on what happened. "Deli? What happened? Deli!" She demanded, causing me to cry even more. "G - g - Grayson, Emily, I saw Grayson." I stuttered, as I felt Matt and Hannah surround me. They knew about Grayson, yet they both knew not to mention his name around me. "He, he was in the toilets. All over some girl." I cried out, my voice breaking near the end of my sentence. By this time, Cameron, Emily, Hannah and Matt surrounding me. Hugging me or rubbing my back. "Deli." She gave me a sympathetic glance, while Matt looked angry. I wondered why, but I was too heart broken to ask him about it. I saw Nash in the corner, looking in my direction. With a guilty expression on his face. Cameron cleared the party out, since it was easily past 2 am. I caught a glance at Grayson. He saw me crying hopelessly, surrounded by everyone. He had his arm around the girls waist, while she gave a me a smirk. I felt anger flow through me. Standing up, only to be forced back down.
"Don't." I heard, looking up, to be met with the face of Nash. "Delilah." I heard Grayson call out, causing me to cry even more. The bitch that was with him dragged him out by the arm, winking at me again. I saw Hannah ball her fists and Emily stand up. "Get the fuck away from my sister, you cheap skanky ass whore. Before I drag you out by your primark hair extensions." Emily bellowed, causing a chuckle from Matt, Hannah and Cameron. I sat motionless, completely numb.
"Try me, cunt." The skank, I mean, the girl shouted at. Wrong move. Emily launched forward, doing exactly what she said she would. She grabbed the girl by the hair, dragging her out of the house. The girl wriggled, trying her best to punch Emily. She hit Emily in the stomach, causing Emily to retaliate and punch her in the nose. Definitely breaking it. "If you dare come in this house ever again, or even come near my sister. I will beat your crusty ass to a pulp. And that's a promise." She threw the girl out my her hair, as the girl shortly got up and waddled to the black car where Grayson was waiting for her.

I hugged Emily, thankful for her sticking up for me. "That's my girl." Cameron laughed, causing the rest to laugh. Yet again, I stood there. I was completely numb. I noticed Nate had joined us now. He saw my face and gave me a look of concern. I looked away, not wanting to do anything.

I knew for definite, I was not over Grayson Dolan. And nor will I ever be.
