What was he thinking? Why the hell did Jackie let him come inside?
Ugh. Do I not pay her enough ?
He sat René down and gave her one of her favorite toys.
I heard a low growl coming from Alex.
Did he know René?
In an instant he had her in his arms.
"Why do you have René?" I heards Mr. Grumpy growl from behind me.
"She's my cousins daughter... My cousin was killed days ago.." My mouth opened but nothing came out.
René put one of her small hands on his cheek and smiled.
"You're not gonna take her from me now are you?" I had grown attached to the little girl. I wasn't gonna let her go, not today.
"No, you've adopted her, she's yours." At this poing René was poking his cheek.
"He's not taking her because she's a hybrid." Mr. Johnson said.
I looked at Alex, and grabbed René. I took her to her bedroom to play with her toys and then i came back out.
"It's complicated. If I take her with me, they'll kill her. " Alex explained.
"Yet you're around my mate." Mr. Johnson growled.
"She's special. They know about her, but no harm will come to her." Alex wrapped he arm around my waist and I glared at him.
He didn't tell me anything before! I have the right to be mad! Right?
Jake growled, once again.
I'm really getting tired of both of them. Maybe its my mood, I don't know. I'll figure it out.
"Well, thats enough for today. Both of you, out!" I opened the door for them with an evil smirk.
I'm so childish...I like myself!
They both walked out, trying to make eye contact with me.
Didn't happen.
I shut the door and walked to my room. I took off my shoes and sat on the floor.
The temperature started to lower and so did the brightness. I saw a shadow in front of my door. It was about 6'2".
"What do you want?" I asked.
Maybe I was going insane...I mean I'm already nuts!
"Rose..." Was the only thing it said.
"Go away, I really don't have time for bullshit." Now, you're wondering why I'm talking to such thing, that way. The truth is, I'm not scared of it. I've never been scared of anything!
Except for spiders...bugs...anything that crawls, in general.
But other than that, never have been scared of anything.
I'm damned, I know.
