Windows. Windows everywhere. You should be able to see through the windows. We would be able to. If there wasn't a foot of reinforced steel surrounding the place. It was cold so cold. Yet my body didn't care. It was on survival mode. We exhausted all our options. There is no way out. They made sure of that. This was obviously well planned. 48, It sounds like a lot yet it's really not. 48 hours. Two days. When you know your death date you reflect. Did you do enough? Did you really "live"? My mind is a mess. I can't focus. I try. I cant. All I know is I might die right now. We were sloppy we got caught. We are better than this. We are smarter than this. Well, I don't. Lea does. Garrett does. Yet we got caught. Ill because of me. I hate myself for it.

We are being held against a wall. Nothing is being said. The silence is somewhat defining.

"Hello, my pretties!" An unsettling voice broke the silence. He was cocky. Narcissistic. He knows we can't beat him if we tried. Only his voice distinguished him from the rest. Otherwise, they all wore the same clothes. Black hoddies, black jeans, black shoes. However, all of them wore a mask. Different animal masks. His was a Lion.

He talked slow. His voice was maniacal like he talked just to talk. He knows he has your attention. He is going to use that to his advantage. "Now just out of curiosity. Why did you kill our precious, gorgeous, young Elliot?" He looked around. He was looking for someone to answer.

Elliot can rot for all I care. Everything he got was well deserved. So no one answered. No one wanted to. He looked like he was about to hit something if he wasn't standing in the middle of the room. His hands rolled into fists and that calm and collected ego he had up faded away. "Answer me" Anger etched in his voice in such a way it really frighted me.

"We would answer if we had a damn chance to breathe," Lea spoke first. She didn't sound scared. She sounded firm yet I could tell shes anything but. When she gets nervous or scared she grabs onto things in hopes to calm her down. So when I looked in the corner of my eye, I and I noticed her grabbing at her pants as her life depended on it, I knew she was scared.

He waved his hand in such a manner that his "minions" seemed to understand. They loosened their grasps. I fell hitting my back against the wall, the girl holding me there chuckled in amusement. I decided to lean onto her arm in annoyance.

"So what do you guys call your selves?" I needed to say something. Anything. A group like this has to have a name or something. So it was perfect to say.

"You didn't answer my question," He said without hesitation. He put on that calm psychotic persuade again.

"We deserve answers, you are the one that stormed in here." You could tell Lea was getting pissed. "You cowards locked us in here. And to make matters better you have an escape plan if things go south." She said that quick and under her breath. Just loud enough for the leader to hear.

"Well don't we have a fighter here, I like this one." He muttered his words in such a way it made me shutter. He walked up to Lea got down on his knee. He looked at her, I'm guessing he was staring at her in her eyes. For she didn't flinch she looked at him dead on and wasn't scared. She had a blank face. Like she was studying him and how he acted. He put in hand in his pocket and brought out a knife. Lea didn't have to look away to know. He started to glide the knife across her cheek. She didn't flinch, she didn't break eye contact.

I keep thinking of Rule 1) keep each other safe. I can't act on it there is nothing I can do without jeopardizing myself and breaking rule 2. She then spits at him. She was testing him seeing how far hell go. Yet her antics weren't helping her situation.

"I don't need to prove myself to the likes of you." He said slow almost whispering in her ear. Blood was dripping down her face and she still didn't react on it.
