Naya's POV

I slowly start opening my eyes woken up by Lea and Garrett's bickering again. With the sound of music muffled behind them. His blond hair moving every time he looks back at Lea with an annoyed yet amused look in his eyes. His pale skin makes his piercing green eyes greener. He is wearing a black short sleeve t-shirt with a slutty mermaid on the back and jeans ripped at the knees. Lea, however, looks like a mermaid herself. When she moves the blue, teal, and black of her hair swings to mimic the ocean. Her smile that never leaves her face makes her golden like eyes with her tan brown skin look like pools of honey. She is wearing black ripped jeans with a black concert crop top and a grey flannel that is tied around her waist with an ombre grey beanie. They were arguing about some race they had earlier that week. Garrett obviously lost, however, Garrett being Garrett denies it. "I won you shithead and don't think about denying it," Lea said confidently like she always does. "Fuck you too," Garrett said with annoyance in his voice. God, they swear way too much. Yet again that's who they are, they have no filter because they were never allowed to speak there mind when they were young.

God, how long have a been out? I guess the motion of the truck helped me fall asleep. I looked around, we must've stopped because Lea was driving last I remember but now Garrett was. She must've gotten really tired because her truck is like her baby, she's not dating someone so this is the closest thing shes got. My other best friend Lexie was right next to me using my legs as a support for her book as I was laying here asleep. Her long brown curly hair held up by two hair ties show her blue eyes and pale skin. She is wearing a white flower dress that looked beautiful on her, she also had lased up boots I always want to "borrow" from her. I sat up a bit and tied my long ombre brown hair into a quick messy bun. I moved the blanket I was using off my body. I was wearing bright blue skinny jeans with a white crop top and a bomber jacket.

Damn, I forgot its summer its really hot here. Wheres my water? I found my water on the ground next to my bag of Lay's chips and took a sip.

"How long till we get there?" I asked not expecting an answer.

"Look sleeping beauty is awake," Lea said joking around like she always does.

"About 15-20 more minutes" Garrett responded.

Before I could say thanks, Lea and Garrett were back at it about god knows what this time. I'm so excited we are going to the biggest store in the country. Lea and I went here every year when we were younger but we haven't been back since 11th grade. Ever since we were younger we wanted to bring Garrett and Lexie, so here we are. It has everything we would want or need. Skateboards and sports equipment for Garrett. Throwing knives, music, and tech equipment for Lea. Guns for both of them. Books and clothes for me and Lexie. There's so much more too but that's what we are mainly interested in.

Lea's Pov

Garret finally parked the car not too far away from the store.

"HURRY UP LET'S GO" I yell already out of the car. I grabbed my skateboard from the trunk of the car

"I'M OUT, Lea help me take the backpack out of the car, do you really need that board?" Garrett said

"Yes, its an essential to my survival," I said shocked he would ask such question. "I also need to get new barrings on it so might as well bring it in, and by the way, there is only one bag in there."

"I know but I'm too lazy to carry it," He says as he grabs the one bag with wallets and extra reusable bags in it. He reluctantly puts it on his back and starts walking towards the huge three-story floor building. I was on my skateboard going slow so I could be next to Naya. Garrett and Lexie still were in the back walking slower than us.
