Calum's POV
I was walking with Michael and Luke to our locker when we saw a girl we haven't seen before being escorted to a locker not used by anyone. We walked over to the blonde girl and Mr. Spear.
"Hi Mr. Spear," I said approaching the two.
"Oh hello Calum, Luke," he nodded his head in our direction. "This is Ashley."
"Hi Ashley," Luke and I said together with a smile.
"Hi" she smiled but was a bit shy, she's cute.
"Are you new here?" I asked, she nodded her head, "can I see your schedule?"
She handed me her schedule and I scanned over it and I felt Luke look over my shoulder. I had her in all my classes, that's rare. "Looks like we have all of the same classes, let me show you around?"
"Sure, thank you." She smiled. "My pleasure" I smiled back.

We walked to first period together, English. "Ms. Tisdale, this is your new student Ashley." I introduced her. "Hello, Ashley there is a seat back there with Calum. Welcome to Hazleton High and my class." she said with a smile. "Ms. Tisdale is one of the nicest teachers here," I whispered to Ashley. She just smiled, geesh I got to break her shyness.
"And that's a wrap for today, your homework is to finish page 49 and then write a summary." Ms. Tisdale announced as the bell rang. Ashley and I walked to our lockers and then to Math. As I did last period, I introduced her to Mr. Cavanah. She's really good in math, she understood everything perfectly and even answered some questions aloud.
Soon it was lunch, time to introduce her to the others. We walked into the lunch room and she followed me to the lunch line. We both got our lunch and the I set out to find the guys. I found them outside at a picnic table. Ashley and I walked toward them and I saw Ashton look twice at Ashley, obviously interested. "Hey guys, This is Ashley, Ashely this is Ashton, Michael, an-" she cut me off, "and Luke" she finished my sentence. I smiled, I liked that she finished it.
"Hey, Ashley, nice to meet you. Do you like it here so far?" Ashton asked. "It's great, so far, I like the teacher so far, and the people here are nice." she responded. "HA, you're not going to think that here soon." Ashton laughed. He wasn't wrong.
"hey we're going to the park after school, wanna come?" Michael invited Ashley. "I- I don't want to intrude-" Ashley stuttered. "No really it's okay, we really would like some new company." Ashton smiled. "Uh, okay, sure" she agreed. "Good." Luke smiled.
The bell rang and Ashley, Luke and I all walked to music class. Our music class isn't your regular marching/concert band. In this class we play guitar and drums and sing. I play bass and I'm kinda good if I do say so my self. Luke plays guitar, electric and acoustic, he's pretty good too. Now, what can Ashley play?
We walked in and took our seats, Ashley sitting next to me. Ms. Cruze announced that we had a new student in our class, Ashley. She asked her too come up to the front of the classroom, like she always does with a new student. She was going to make her 'try out' for a part of the class.
"Ashley, what instrument do you play or would like to play?" Ms. Cruze asked. "Um, well I can sing and play guitar." she shyly smiled. "Would you like to perform a little song on guitar and sing? Y'know, to show your talent." MS. Cruze asked. "You can prepare it tonight and perform it next class." she added. "Uh, yes, may I do that instead?" Ashley asked. I could see how nervous she was.
