My best friend Clary birthday is today she is turning 18. So me and Simon are going to meet up for her birthday surprise

Later on that evening I got a text from Simon were to go
To:Kayla From:Simon meet me at Starbucks

To: Simon from: Kayla be there in five minutes and are you buying

To: Kayla from: Simon okay and yes I am

I was getting ready to go to the car when I ran into Simon. Hey!! I said hi Kayla. So what you doing over here,I asked
I-I'm here for you. Oh I said do you need a ride to Starbucks,I asked. Yeah he said. I smiled and said okay get in. Then we got to Starbucks and he told me what the birthday surprise was that he got a gig for her that he is singing at. So I just said okay. I got up to go to my car when someone grabbed my hand. I looked to see who it was and it was Simon. What are you doing,I asked. He said I'm doing what I should have done a long time ago. I was about to ask him what it was but before I could he pulled me in for a kiss. When he was finished I was like wow!! He said whats wrong. I looked at him and smiled nothing was wrong. I loved it and he pulled me in again and he kissed me again. My phone started going off but I didn't want to answer it but I pulled away from Simon to look who was calling me I saw is was Clary and I answered it.

Hi,she said
Is everything okay,I asked
Yeah just fine
Okay happy birthday, I said
Yeah thanks
See you at the gig okay,I said
Yeah bye

I looked back to Simon he said I love you,I love you too Simon I said he gave me one last kiss and then he said we have to get to the gig I just said okay.

When we got to the gig I gave him a kiss for good luck and Clary came walking up to us laughing as we kissed. I looked over to her and I pushed Simon off what were you thinking kissing me Simon I am your friend. He stood there looking at me weird I shrugged looking at Clary and lipping a sorry and I love you to Simon he just nodded.

I looked back to Clary so what's up. My mom gave me this but I don't know how to use it,"oh my god"I said she asked me what was wrong i just stood there and then I said I have to go to the bathroom okay I'll be back. I got in the bathroom and burned a symbol on my arm that transferred me to the bathroom in the shadow hunter academic. When I got out of the bathroom I started yelling for jace. Instead of jace I ran into Alec he asked me what was wrong. At first all I said was she"Valentine"Clary the cup. What are you talking about he asked me. Valentine wife is not dead my best friend Clary is there daughter and she gave her one of these she hide the cup from Valentine and know he the cup and there both in danger.
