Japan x Short!Reader

You woke up to the sound of your alarm clock going off. You rose up in your bed, still a bit tired. You stretched your arms out and yawned. "Mmmm...I should lay back down" you said, as you positioned yourself to lay down when suddenly your bestfriend Kiku barged in.

"(Y/N) lets go! We are gonna be rate for school!" he exclaimed. Your eyes shot wide open as you stared at him. "Kiku, beauty like this doesn't happen overnight. I need a full days rest" you said, laying back down. "Yea well height doesn't either, but you still try" he said, watching as you got up furiously.

"Fine! I'll get dressed and go to schoool where all the talll people are!" you mocked. You threw on a blue t-shirt, black jeans and a pair of Vans. You and Kiku headed out the door when suddenly, you remembered that you forgot your bookbag. "Damm it, I left my bag upstairs in my room. I'll be right back Kiku" you said, running back inside.

"Okay (Y/N)". 1 min later, you came back down and you two headed off to school. Once you guys made it, you needed to get your books out of your locker. Since, you're very short and can't reach you began to struggle for your books. You heard the chuckles and giggles of those who passed by but you didn't care.

Just then Kiku came from behind you and grabbed the book for you. "Here you go (Y/N)" he said, while passing you your Geometry book. A blush spread across your face as some people walked by saying "Awe" or "How cute". "T-thank you Kiku....we should get going now" you said as you closed your locker and headed for Geometry class.

"W-wait (Y/N)!" He exclaimed, but you were already half way down the hallway. Just because you had short legs didn't mean you weren't fast. You made it to class when out of nowhere, a note was thrown onto your desk. You looked around to see who passed it or who was looking, but no one was.

You decided Yolo and opened the note. It read: (Y/N) meet me at the back of the school later during lunch. I need to tell you something very important. -Kiku.

You closed the note and put it away in your bag. A light blush came across your face as to what you thought Kiku was gonna say. "I hope its nothing bad" you whispered.

-------------Time Skip to Lunch--------

Its lunch time and you needed to fine Kiku. You made your way to the back of the school and saw him sitting there, petting a stray cat. "Kiku?" you said as his attention turned away from the cat and onto you. "(Y/N) you actually came? I didn't think you would of came" he said, blushing a bit.

"So, what was it that you needed to tell me Kiku?" you asked curiously. Just then, a pair of lips came crashing onto yours as your eyes widened. You pulled away to breath and your face turned a scarlet red. "Kiku....what was that!" you said, looking at him.

"(Y/N) I've wanted to tell you this but, I thought a kiss would explain it more. But um, Im in love with you. You're just so cute and pretty, I can't help but smile every minute im with you. I dont care about your height. I only care about you and your personality." He said, pulling you in for a hug.

A smile spread across your face and you hugged him back. You then pulled him in for a kiss one more time before whispering in his ear, "I love you too Kiku...I always have." You two then returned back inside the school, hand in hand.
