Filming scenes wasn't all that difficult for me. I have been working on this new action movie on location.
Today was a particularly rough day, we stood on the roof of an old building when my costar Dan slipped off the edge. I painfully threw myself on the floor, catching his hand just in time.
The crew rushed to help, pulling him up to safety. I stayed on the floor, my ribs aching and a huge gash running down my forearm.

And now I'm here, alone, laying on a hospital bed in a small room.
My forearm throbbing with a sharp pain underneath the bandages and so many stitches.

"We'll get you on more medication for the pain. We do need to make sure there are no fractures to your ribs, but it might take several hours." The balding doctor said to me.

"Awesome." I replied as the nurse injected more medication into my IV.

"We're going to have to keep you overnight for observation." I heard a woman talking behind the light blue curtains to my right as my doctor and nurse left the room.

"Awesome." I heard a man echoing me, followed by footsteps leaving the room.

"You know," I spoke out loud after several seconds of silence, "Maybe they shouldn't give us results or talk about doing tests after they've given us about fifty drugs."

"Right?" I heard him chuckle, "When I got here I had a room full of people staring at me and I didn't understand a word they said."

"Exactly." I chuckled, feeling pain in my ribs.

"I'm Dylan." He said from the other side of the curtain.

"My name's Y/n." I said, no need to mention my last name, the last thing I wanted was to be recognized.

"What a great day huh?" He asked.

"My thoughts exactly." I half smiled to myself, "So what are you here for?"

"I- uh fell off a car and landed on my face." He said as if he simply tripped and fell.

"You fell off a car?" I asked.

"Yeah." I could hear a smile as if he was laughing at himself.

"And landed on your face?"

"Fractured my cheekbone." He answered.

"That's rough, man." I said thinking of how much more pain he's in than I am.

"What about you?" He asked.

"Well you fell off a car, I heroically saved my friend from falling off the side of a building." I laughed, the pain medication making me feel better. "I cut my arm and something happened to my ribs- the doctors don't even know."

"Heroically?" I heard him laugh.

"Hells yeah." I said confidently.

"Okay." His laugh filled the small room.

"Hey, I don't buy your falling off a car story either." I shrugged.
