It was a special month for Kiyoko. She roamed halls with a smile on her lips and red on her cheeks. She was confident. Her self-esteem boosted. Every day she opens her locker which was bombarded with small pieces of paper containing compliments and words of encouragement. Laced with a sign pen and small letters, Kiyoko took the time to read these letters with a fluttering heart. She looked at herself through the mirror in her locker to see if these words were true. Half of her didn't believe those words, while the other believed them to be true. She pondered if this act was a joke or a way of expressing feelings. If this was a joke, then that joke made her feel things.
Today, she visited her locker as usual with excitement embracing her chest. She opened the cold knob to see the papers in a messy manner. She raked them all in a pile with her hand and proceeded to read them all one by one. She noticed the paper was different. It had a scent, a floral scent. She sniffed the thin material, pleasing her nostrils. She kept a small jar in her locker, luckily. She scooped the letters into the glass container without notcing the last but important piece of paper. Forgotten.
End of the practice with the Karasuno volleyball team, she decided to take her glass jar home to rewind all the letters she received from the unknown messenger. She opened her locker, noticing the unread piece of paper. She gingerly picked it up and unfolded its blankets. As her eyes scrolled through the message, they widened. Panic starts to control her as she rereads the words that triggered her.
She closed the door with a bang and began to dash to the rooftop. It was difficult to chase to the top for her shoes were not built for sudden marathons and the floor was mopped just recently.
She arrived at the entrance of the rooftop with numeorus huffs, her hand exhaustingly reaching for the metal handles of the door. She flung them open hoping to see a presence according to the note.
She frantically searched for that unknown person that started this small tradition of pampering her with words. Her head took sharp turns left and right with her fingers clutching the hem of her skirt. As she recovers from her run, she saunters throughout the rooftop. She stopped at the back of the entrance hoping there's a sign of life behind there. There is.
Her back faced Kiyoko, displaying her [hair color] that enticed her eyes as it danced in the air and gracefully landing on the girl's shoulders. The girl ruefully turned to the front with her head focusing on her cellphone, oblivious to Kiyoko's presence. A look of dejection evident as her thumb glided the smooth surface of her phone.
As Kiyoko's mouth starts to say something, the girl looked up from her screen. She was dumbfounded, but that expression soon lost to the look of happiness and relief. She mentioned Kiyoko's name with a soft voice that tingled said girl's ears.
"You came." The girl stated. Her chest starting to heave with emotions. Her eyes starting to water.
Kiyoko instantly fell for this girl. With her soft [eye color] hues and her flushed cheeks, and her pretty pink lips. She was so enchanting to look at. She can't stop smiling at her, her mind drooling over her majesty.
"You know, I was the one who started this send letters thing",she said, biting her lips in an attempt to hold back those stubborn tears of hers.
"I know. And I am thankful that it was you", Kiyoko said with gratitude and love in the tone of her voice. The other female was surprised, with her mouth open but soon closed.
"I forgot to introduce myself. My name is [First Name] [Last Name]."
[Name] fiddles with her fingers, effortlessly sliding. Time stopped for said girl. Hearing Kiyoko's footsteps getting louder as her goddess-like form approaches her. Her arms wrapping around [Name]'s torso. Grateful for finally knowing her name. She took a whiff of that lovely scent emitting from [Name]'s skin. Digging her nose into her shoulder and slightly tightening her embrace. A tender look on [Name]'s face, so happy to win her crush's heart. The warmth remindedher of pleasing winter evenings, the fireplace piping out heat in the room and enveloping her skin.
Kiyoko's hair tickled her neck, her breath pounding on her flesh. The gentle weight on her shoulder. Everything was so magical. Slowly, [Name] lifted her head as she caressed her soft cheek with her thumb. She instantly fell for those midnight hues of hers. A deep yet serene abyss.
Sadly, the violent vibration of [Name]'s phone broke the loving silence. She shoved her hand in her pocket and read the text. A frown was summoned on her lips. Kiyoko's chest sunk, it was time to end this day.
"I have to go."
She whispered with a heavy sigh. Kiyoko took her chin and pulled it closer to her lips. Was aiming for the lips, hit her chin. [Name] felt it, unbelievably soft. She was left flabbergasted, Kiyoko smirked.
This was the start of an unbelievably cheesy relationship, kinda.
