HEDONE, the star-crossed daughter of the God of Love, Cupid and the Princess Psyche ; Psyche's pregnancy angered Aphrodite. With her heart full of hatred and distaste for her son's lover, the goddess put the unborn child under a curse, sentencing her into a lifetime spent rejected by the men she will fall in love with and it could only be lifted under one condition. Hedone must prove herself worthy of a goddess to her grandmother and only then will she earn the gift of requited love.

LUKAS, a mortal whom almost defies a mere human being's boundaries of beauty and although he is praised and loved, it is what he detests most about himself.
