When I got home from work I told Eric about Charles going against the terms of the restraining order and he got on the phone and called Dre.
Dre said a warrant had been issued for his arrest and when caught he will be detained until his trial.
I breathed a sigh of relief when I heard that. I won't have to worry about him being able to get to me or my family and friends.
"It's gonna be ok, baby", he said
I rubbed his hand. "I know"

A Week Later
Charles was finally arrested and is now sitting in a jail cell awaiting trial. I was so relived that I won't have to worry about him anymore.
I wanted to go see him but Eric and Dre didn't think it would be a good idea. But I needed to go. I had to put an end to this story. I needed closure so I could move on with Eric.
So now I was going to see Charles with Eric by my side. He decided to drive so I wouldn't be by myself. I really appreciated and I love him more for doing this with me.
We pulled into the gate and parked the car. He turned it off and we sat in silence for a minute. He then turned to me and asked, "Baby, you sure you wanna do this?"
I kissed his cheek. "Yes. I need to"
He breathed in deeply and said, "Ok, let's go"
