My Monster (Travis×Katelyn)

Chapter 2

Today was the first day.

Today was script reading.

Today was pure torture.

I woke up and groaned. Angel jumped on my bed and licked my face. I giggled and pushed her gently away from me.

"Waaaake uuuUuuup~" Aphmau sang and jumped onto me.

"Aph! I don't wanna go" I groaned into my pillow.

"You have to!"

"FiiiIiiiine" I grumbled and walked lazily to my dresser. I pulled out some clean clothes and stomped lazily to the bathroom.

I stripped down to my birthday suit and stepped into the boiling water. I washed my hair and softly sang.

"I lock the doors, and turn all the water on. And bury that sound, so no one hears anything anymore. Mirror lie to me, tell me you can see maybe you won't be able to recognize me now"

I stepped out of the water after washing and started to get dressed. I put on black jeans and a loose Navy blue tank top. I put my hair in some curlers and grabbed my hair dryer. I dried my hair and when it was dry, removed the curlers. My blue hair fell into perfect waves and I applied my normal make up.

I looked myself over and nodded at what I accomplished. I grabbed my black cardigan and slipped on my black converse.

"Bye Aph" I said while grabbing my purse, "bye Angel"

Aph waved goodbye and Angel barked.

I slipped into my blue BMW and drove to the studio. I got there and felt my feet turn into cement. They wouldn't move.

A tapping on my window snapped me out of my state and I turned to see Travis North smirking. I opened the door and it hit him in the forehead.

"Ow!"

"You deserved it" I growled. Travis draped his arm on my shoulders, and I was quick to push him off.

"So, you excited to be my lover"

I rolled my eyes and ignored his comment.

"By the way, you're lookin' good"

I scoffed and quickened my pace.

"Okay, I get you hate me but we're gonna have to kiss and.....well there's a sex scene"

"WHAT?!"

"I'm just kidding! Relax!"

I growled and stormed into the doors.

"There she is! One of our stars has arrived! Miss. Blackwood! Tell me, has Mr. North arrived?"

"Yes" I sighed and sat at the table with all the other actors. Travis walked in.

"Katy! You can't just leave me like that!" He stomped over and grabbed my hands into his, getting on his knees. "Katelyn, after everything we've been through!" His voice starting to break. He held my hands to his chest.

"Please Katelyn....you can't leave me! You can't! I....I LOVE YOU"

The room was silent and I couldn't find my voice to yell at him, I was too shocked and confused.

Travis stood up and leaned so his hands were on the arms of the chairs. His face inches from mine.

"Katelyn, I love you. I love you with all of my heart. I can't contain these emotions any longer! Irene I love you"

There were some awkward coughs and some shuffling. I put on a pleasant, yet poisoning, smile. I cupped his face and pretended to give him a sincere look of admiration.

"You're not fooling anyone" I patted his face and pushed him away from me. Some people laughed, others let out sighs of relief. "Now, we're here on business so if we could be professional," I glared at Travis, "that would be nice."

People nodded in agreement and we started reading through the script.

After hours upon hours talking about the movie, we were finally done.

I walked out to my car and leaned my forehead on the wheel. I yelled to nothing in particular.

"Watchya screamin' at?"

I jumped and let out a scream seeing Travis in the passenger seat.

"WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING IN MY CAR?!"

"Relax, Katy"

"I told you not to call me that"

"Whatever, anyways, what's wrong?"

"Shut it, North, and get out of my car"

"Aww, come on, you can call me Travis" he gave me a flirtatious smirk and leaned forward, eyeing me.

"Quite it, perv"

"Wanna practice the kissing scene?"

I gripped the steering wheel until my knuckles turned white.

"Get. Out."

"I'm sorry about that whole scene before the read through"

"No you aren't"

"I am"

I pulled out my phone.

"Who ya callin'"

"The authorities if you don't get out of my car"

Travis raised his hands in defeat.

"Okay, okay. Seeya tomorrow"

Travis left my car and I zoomed out of the parking lot. I got home and jumped on Aphmau who was laying on the couch. I cuddled up to her and nuzzled my face into her chest.

"Kate, what're you doing?"

"I hate him" I mumbled. Aphmau let out an 'aww' and rubbed my arms.

"After this movie you'll never have to see him again"

"But this movie is gonna last forever"

"No it won't"

My phone started ringing profusely and I picked it up. It was just my Twitter so I tossed the phone in the armchair and forgot it existed.

Then there was a knock at the door. I begrudgingly got up and opened the door to see Jeffery.

"Hey baby" he held my hips and pecked me, "aww you have your grumpy face" he held my chin and rubbed his nose on mine. "How 'bout I come in and make your day better" he whispered seductively into my ear.

"Thanks babe, but I'm not in the mood. Plus Aph's here"

Jeffery sighed dramatically and pulled me closer.

"But I wanna see you smile" he pouted. I smirked and hugged him.

"Thanks"

"So, what's got you in a bad mood?" He asked walking inside and sitting next to Aphmau on the couch.

"She's in a movie with Travis. She's his love interest" Aph answered.

"I don't like him" he sighed, "but as long as it's strictly business"

"Trust me, nothings going on, and nothing will ever go on, between Travis and I"

Jeffery smirked at me and pulled me onto his lap.

"I can take a hint" Aphmau sighed, "come on Angel, let's go for a walk"

Jeffery and I laughed as Aphmau left.

"So...now can I make you feel better"

Jeffery.....my love

A/N I actually don't plan for this to be a really long book. Just short and sweet. So if the plot twists are coming fast, just know I plan this to be a short book. Anyways. I love you all devils, byeee.
