Confess

I was purring in Eren's lap while he stroked my fur softly. It was such a relaxing moment so in a few minutes I managed to fall asleep.

2 hours later....

I awoke to the sound of soft snoring and I shifted myself to my side. I realised that the mattress was not as soft as usual (not that it was anyway) , it felt warm and it was slowly moving up and down and I could hear a heartbeat.... 'Wait...what?!?'

I looked up and I saw Eren's peaceful face, asleep. I realised I was sleeping beside him with my head on his chest. I saw his arm draped around my waist and the blood immediately rushed to my face.

I got up slowly as to not disturb Eren while he was sleeping.

"(y/n)?"

Eren woke up and he rubbed his eyes to take away his sleepiness.

"Good to see that the chemical's effects wore off, and thanks for keeping me warm while I slept" Eren said while smiling broadly. Such a cheerful smile.

"Sorry about Hanji, hope I wasn't too much trouble..." I said.
"I hope I wasn't too heavy either...hehehe..." I nervously laughed while a hint of pink tinted my cheeks.

"Not a problem (y/n), I'm always here to help. Besides, it was kind of nice just to take a nice nap with a beautiful girl beside me" Eren said as his face turned crimson while grinning sheepishly.

My face heated up as it turned into a crimson hue. "G..g..glad you think I'm beautiful,Eren" I said shyly.

"You know, (y/n)... I've always thought you were the cutest,most beautiful and most attractive girl I've ever seen...ever since our first day at the trainee camp." Eren said as I gasped in surprise at his statement. "That time and until now I have always been in love with you. Especially now that I know you better." Eren continued with honesty and love in his eyes.

"I love you, (y/n). Will you be my girlfriend?"

My eyes widened in surprise. I tried speaking but I was speechless. I finally got my voice back after what seemed like an eternity even if it was just a few seconds.

"I love you too,Eren. I'd love to be your girlfriend" I smiled cheerfully with a tear of happiness falling down my cheek.

Eren cupped my face with his hands. Wiping away the tears with his thumbs. His face got closer to mine until he closed the distance......

with a kiss.
