Accident

We made sure that no car was there.
But in the middle of the road, I stopped because Bella started whining.
I knelt down with her to take a closer look.
I started to hear an engine so I tried my best to hurry up, but Bella was still whining.
She had hurt her paw somewhere, because it was red.
Suddenly, I heard this loud honking and I was surprised to find this truck in front of us.
Bella got surprised as well and started to bark so loud which surprised me.
Because of the loud noises, my mind was blank and I felt a heavy tug on my stomach.
Bella had pushed me away.
She had saved me.
But unfortunately, she couldn't save herself because she didn't have time to.
She got ran over by the truck.
