Chapter 13

Mitch's POV

I watched from a distance. She couldn't. She wouldn't. But she did. "I-I think I love you...I love you. " I heard Carly mumble to the guy. He looked about her age. I knew I shouldn't be mad. I had cheated. Numerous times. I knew this was the right thing to do. I turned to head home. I had a lot to think about. How do I tell her what I saw. How I didn't love her. How it was...over. I opened the door. I just went to my room. This would be a long day.

Carly's POV

I knew this was right. I loved him. I hated Mitch. I had seen him cheating. Charlie and I pulled away. A small grin spread across my face. "I have an idea. Follow me..." I whispered. I took his hand and headed back to the house. Instead of going through the front door We scaled the fence. I pulled Charlie towards the tree that was in front of my bedroom window. There was a large wooden tree house that stuck out to one side. The boys had never used it. The ivy and the tree had grown around it almost hugging it protectively. We climbed the tree and I pulled Charlie into the tree house. "Wanna stay up here for a couple of hours?" I whispered so only Charlie could hear. He nodded and pulled me into a  tight hug. I snuggled into his warm chest. Suddenly my phone buzzed. I picked it up as papa Ty's name appeared on the screen.

(T=Ty, C=... well u can probably guess.)

T= You comfy up there.

C=Ty where is Adam?

T=I locked him out the house. Who's the boy?

I looked over to my bedroom window to see Ty and Jason sat on my bed watching me and Charlie.

T=The back door is unlocked. Bring your friend in.

I gave him a worried look.

T=I wont hurt him.

I nodded and hung up. Charlie had followed my gaze to the window. A look of concern spread over his eyes. I took his chin in my hand. " Relax. Ty is harmless. Adam is locked out the house. No one will hurt you." I took his cold hand in mine and pulled him out the tree house and down the tree. We opened the back door, me still gripping Charlie's hand tightly. Everyone's heads turned to face us. I saw Ty appear from behind the hall door. He walked past all the guys and took my wrist. "Kitchen!" Me and Charlie followed him into the kitchen. " Look Carls, I'm fine with the fact that the boys came over. I've seen them with you before. I completely understand that you have no friends that are girls. It's Adam that doesn't understand that. Now about what happened with you two. Mitch was pretty sure that you had seen him with another girl. He said he knows that you hate him and he's breaking up with you. So Charlie, I believe you have something to ask my daughter. I'll be in the lounge. " He didn't let me speak before he left. I turned to face Charlie. He had his cute, innocent little smirk on his face. "Carly, will you be my girlfriend?" I started to tear up. I'm so stupid when it comes to soppy things. I nodded and dove into his warm arms and hugged him. Our lips held in a lip lock. "I love you Charlie." "I love you to beautiful." I heard the front door go. "Ty I promise I've calmed down. Is she here?" Adam's voice travelled to us quickly. I looked at Charlie. He smiled at me as we braced for the hurricane that was headed our way.
