Part 1 - introduction

Layla Dawson's POV

So here I am . Sat alone once again . Well I best introduce myself .
I'm Layla Dawson and my parents sadly past away last year . Since that I've been really down and I was forced to live with my uncle Steven . He hates me . I'm only 14 years old . Everyday I think of running away but then I listen to my idol . Ariana grande .  Ive always wanted to see her live but that never happened . My uncle broke my dreams just like he broke my family apart and my happiness . "LAYLA " my uncle called . "YES UNCLE STEVEN ?"  I replied my voice shaking . He always shouts at me and forces me to do stuff like get him beers . Like turning the tv on and off .  Cook for him . He never does anything . Whenever I talk to him my voice trembles and I begin to shake . Is it right to say I'm terrified of him?  "OI LAYLA " he began to yell louder  and come up stairs stamping his feet  on every step . I begin to shake more . "Y-Yes what's the problem " I began to stutter . "DONT IGNORE ME WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE IGNORING ME ?" He screamed from the outside of my door . "I-I didnt mean to ignore you . " I say not quite sure what I'm actually saying . I just broke down into tears . "GET ME A GODDAMN BEER IVE ASKED YOU ABOUT 12 TIMES " . He burst through the door then.  All of a sudden I began to feel faint . Then all I saw was black . I could hear him still , shouting at me , telling me to get up . I tried but I just couldn't he had struck me .
