Nagisa x Reader

Chapter 9: Finally...

You stay awake, your stomach growling, the wind blowing slightly into the trunk, the loud hum of the engine, the city lights of your hometown.

You felt too giddy and tried to stop yourself from making and movements or noises. You were back and kind of safe. You weren't sure what to do later on when they stopped. You thought about possible outcomes like if they take a stop at a gas station, then you would run away, back home, safe. But... They might not need the gas. It seems like we have already been driving for about two hours since the sun was rising already, leaving a pink hue through the sky.

Suddenly, the truck enters a neighborhood. You can't really recognize anything since all you could see was the houses rooftops. Eventually, the truck pulls up onto a drive way. Their house? You hear the door open, then slam, then footsteps. A rap at the door. You peek up and see them at someone's house. You recognize it as Nagisa's house.

You quickly and carfully hop out of the car, no lights at the house. You dash towards the side of the house, climbing over into Nagisa's yard, a trick him and you learned while trying to run away from imaginary demons. You fall the the grownd, kneeling and then search for the back door key. Yes! Luckily the key was under a mat, near the door. You unlock the door and enter the house.You hear another rap at the door and jump. Luckily, there was no window to Nagisa's front door. You quietly, well, attempted to quietly close the door but it creaked slightly, then you lock it. You look around the house and find a lit bathroom.

You enter it and freak out as someone lunges at you. You don't make any sound since the pursuer had covered your mouth. "(Y/N)-chan?" you hear Nagisa's voice. He helps you up and grips your arm and you wince. "A-are you hurt?" he asks you. Through the bathroom lights, you can see visible blood stains on the fabric. He quickly tends to your wounds on your arms, your cheeks, and around your neck. You was doing a precise job and got really close to your neck with sent heat to your cheeks. And stares into your eyes and hugs you.

"Call my parents for backup." you say and he nods. He hands you the phone, as more rapping continues at the door. "I know you're in there Nagisa." Sakura says in a sing-songy tone.

You both don't say anything and your parents don'e answer. You tense up and Nagisa hugs you, trying to comfort you as he rubs his hands on your back. You hust sit there, tears threatning to spill. "Let it out..." Nagisa says in a soothing voice. Tears started spilling afterwards, and you shake uncontrollably. Nagisa stays where he is, letting you cry on your shoulder. You lean your forehead on is shoulder and sigh with a hic-up.

"Are you okay?" Nagisa asks again and you nod. He leaves the bathroom while you quickly use the toilet and wash your face. You feel embarrassed because of how much skin you were showing but ignore it. You exit the bathroom and Nagisa shows you a flashlight.

You close the light in the bathroom and Nagisa quides you to the kitchen. "You must be hungry." Nagisa says, opening the fridge as the door stays silent. You glance around and curtains shutted out the windows. Nagisa helps make food as you check to see if everything is lock... Yes. You do see a shadow outside which looked like Sakura and Sakura's onee-chan.

You go back to the kitchen and Nagisa hands you a plate of food. You eat it quickly, feeling your strength coming back. Nagisa doesn't say anything. We didn't want to make anything obvious. You leave the plate on the table and you both think up a plan.

"So, you come from behind as I lure them into the backyard." Nagisa says with a nod, already heading to his backyard. "Stay safe." he whispers and you nod as you exit the front door, locking it with a key Nagisa lent you. You head towards the back and here mumbled conversation. "Nagisa! I know you're in the backyard." Sakura calls for Nagisa again and you see his shape walk near the fence.

"What do you need?" Nagisa asks, his voice a growl. "We came to tell you the horrible news!" Sakura says, fake sorrow in her voice. "(Y/N)-chan has died." Sakura says, venom in her voice. Nagisa opens the gate to his backyard and beckons them. You hide, thinking that Sakura's onee-chan might see you and you make a silent dash to them.

You kick onee-chan in the back of the hand as she lands on a flower pot and groans before slumping down into unconsciousness. Sakura then hits you and you try to block but ended up being moved back. Nagisa was no where to be seen. "So... What do you think you're doing here." Sakura asks you with a sneer. "To settle things." you say, not looking around.

"How'd you escape." she growls. You feel Nagisa watching you, and feel him doing something. "Brains that you don't have." you taunt her. She growls like a dog and glares. She takes out a knife and you twitch. You clench your hands and remember the knife you had, the one in your purse.

Sakura lunges before you could grab your knife and you dodge, reching into your purse. She lunges again and you pull out the knife, twirling it. You slash in front of you as Sakura attacks you again and she falls on her butt. You lunge at her and pin her down. You hit her head with the hilt of your knife and huff.. She passes out.

You get up while Nagisa brings some duck tape and some blankets and we tie them up and left them in a corner of the backyard.

Nagisa and you attempt to call your parents but still failed and left a message. You didn't want the police brought into this since you didn't want to much trouble for Sakura and her sister.

"Wow. This was a hectic week." Nagisa says. "Mhmm... How long was I gone?" you ask. "For 3 days." he says and you nod. The sun had already risen and you were tired. "Did you go to school?" I ask him. "No, not without you." he says and looks at you with a sad smile. "Where's your mom?"

"She's on a business trip. Won't be back in a while." he says and you nod. The sunrise was like a sunset except the sky started turning blue. The moon still out and bright, you sigh of releif. Nagisa then grabs you around the waist and makes you sit hip by hip and you blush. You didn't push away but was tense. You feel Nagisa hold your arm and then he was cupping your face, making your eyes meet him.

He smiles kindly. "Do you hate me?" he asks you. "N-no..." you say and blush. "I love you." you say. "Prove it." he says. You feel your cheeks turn more red. He was tempting you to kiss him. Well, since he made the first move, you decide to make another. You lean in and kiss Nagisa on the lips roughly. You really didn't know how to kiss and was awkward about it but firmly pressed harder. You release and gasp, blushing furiously. Nagisa's cheeks were red as well. "Not enough?" you mumble, putting a finger to his lips, opening his mouth a little more and take in another sweet kiss.
