After a few week of being terrorized by his dad , Jack decides to finally tell Sally. He didn't know how to approach her, so he decided to wing it and see what happens. After all, what could go wrong?
It was lunch time and he still had no idea what to say. He looked around the cafeteria and saw the bright, red hair. Jack took a huge breath and walked over to her with a smile, not seeing she didn't have one. He looked at her worried, "Sal...are you okay?" He went to grab her hand but she pulled away. She handed him a folded piece of paper without even looking at him. He picked it up and started reading. "Meet me after school." Jack looks up at her. She doesnt meet his gaze.
Jack wasn't ready for his conversation with Sally. He didn't know what she wanted to talk about or why she couldn't look at him. He saw her by their usual meeting spot;Sally looking up at the sky. Jack gently put his hand on her shoulder and turned her around. Sally had been crying; black running down her face. She looked up at him and says,"Jack...your father...he raped me..."
