As a sophomore with an older brother who is a popular senior, I tend to be a little more popular in my grade. I my hair is black and I have a bob cut. I'm 5'7 and I play volley ball. I just started, so I don't know much about it. I love horror movies. I like the thrill of them. I have a few "friends", but I don't preferably like them. They are just kind of, well, there. My name is Jayda. I'm 15 almost 16 years old. I like to go outside and draw what I see. One day after school I went to the back yard of my new house.I saw a girl who looked a few years younger than me. Her face was a ghostly white color, and her feet were pierced with thorns and stickers. Her hands were dirty and red almost like blood. I looked at her dress. It was a cream colored dress that hit the green grassy ground. The dress had red rusty stains on it too. She sat down on a slanted log just above a creek. She delicately dipped her feet into the icy cold waters. The blood from her feet washed away and cleared up into the dirty brown water. As she stood up her feet sunk a little in the wet ground. It had rained the day before. Her dress became muddy at the bottom and the wind blew her hair just a little across the back of her head. She had a crown of white flowers on her head. Her gaze set upon a tree. I believe it was a magnolia tree. She turned around, but it didn't look like she saw me. Her eyes were red and puffy. Tear streaks dried on her face. She walked up to a trail that looked like it had grown back a little. I put her off for another day. The next day after school, she was there, but this time she appeared differently. Her dress was pure white. No stains, no dirt, no tears. Her feet were healed. No, thorns, no grass stains, no blood. Her hair was clean and curly and her face had no dirt or tear streaks on it. She looked so pure, so innocent, so... peaceful. She was quiet. Too quiet. I tried to talk to her, but it seemed like she never heard me or even saw me. I stood up off of the cold wet grass. Stepping one foot at at a time from heel to toe. The grass made me shiver each time I walked. As I got closer and closer to her I could sense something greater than just a girl. I guess it was just a hunch. She saw me and walked off into the little trail that grass and weeds started to cover up. She disappeared once more. I just stood there. I finally walked away and went to the house.

"Jayda! Can you come with me to the skate park?" My older brother Sanders asked me.

"Yeah sure. Let me grab my skateboard." I replied.
