What Am I?

Elizabeth P.O.V.

I look at the strange man like he has an third arm coming from his side. He did not just say I wasn't human. If I wasn't human then what am I? As if he read my mind he spoke.

" Your probably l wondering what you are? Well the answer to that question would be you are an Angel."

"An angle? That doesn't sound so bad. I thought you were gonna say something like I'm a vampire or werewolf." You might think I'm crazy, but I'm just playing along. Telling them what they want to hear. It makes sense right? But then he said something I wasn't expecting.

"Its more complicated than you think. You are an Angel princess and your real name is Artemis. What makes you so special is that your mother is God and I, your father am what you call the Devil. You were never meant to be, but you are. You have powers that I can help you control. You can try to be good but the bad will always win." I just look at him shocked. Come to think of it I never did look like my parents.

At that moment I just want everything to go back to normal but I know it won't. I bolt out the house and just run I don't know were to but somewhere. What felt like hours of running I finally came face to face with civilization. It was a little park with about thirty people there. I saw their happy faces and I became outraged. Why do they get to be happy when I can't?

My rage build up to the point were I feel like I'm about to explode. Suddenly I hear an inhuman blood curling scream and realize it's coming from me. My eyes are blinded by the brightest white light I've ever seen. When the light has gone and the screams are no more, I collapse on the ground. I just lie there on the ground, my eyes closed. I finally open them but that was a mistake.
