Normally my alarm would have been thrown towards the wall by now and smashed to bits on the floor, instead I woke up with a huge smile on my face from yesterdays events. I stretched out my arms as the sunlight stung my eyes trying to relax my muscles, the fight from yesterday had resulted in my body aching head to toes. The stretch had no effect on my muscles so I decided to have a hot shower in the en-suit. I was looking forward to seeing Eddie and learning more about him but I was dreading him finding out more about me and my past. Something about him made me feel like I've always known him even if he was a total jerk at first. I shake my head at the memory. I find it funny how in one day we went from enemy's to, shock, horror, friends! I let out a small giggle. suddenly I find the door screeching open and revealing a stylish Maddie. "What's got you in such a good mood? I thought that you'd kill me when I have the pleasure of waking her royal highness up" I groan at her comment, she knows full well that it bugs me when people refer to me as royalty because I hate people treating me differently. A evil smirk appears on her face "Well?"

"What?"

"You didn't answer my question, what's up with you?" she says with a confused expression on her face, showing the same smirk which makes her look very dangerous and feisty.

"Erm... nothing r-really, just thinking about panda's" what the hell was I thinking. Panda's? I mentally smack myself as Maddie's face looks even more confused but then immediately changes in recognition.

"yeah you tell yourself that Alex" oh no she knows. I get out of my bed and Maddie gasps. "your not ready yet?"

"Mad's we have hours until school starts I think I'm okay"

"No offence but you have no clue on what to wear as a normal teenager" I nod as she does have a point "So this calls for another makeover!" I groan, I hate makeovers, if it was up to me id just wear my pyjamas all day because they're so comfy. "Hey don't moan, you don't want him to stop liking you do you?" She says as she roots through my drawers. That's it she definitely knows but what is she talking about, Eddie doesn't like me in that way. I start to panic, what if she tells everyone else that I like him, Kian will surely hate the idea and give me a huge lecture on how he's bad for me and will stop at nothing to keep us apart. "Don't worry I wont tell Kian, us girls have to have each others back." its as if she read my mind. "ha found it!" she yells probably waking Kian and his mother up. She pulls out a beautiful white frill dress that hangs off the shoulders. I gasp in amazement. "I knew you'd like it." she walks over to me and passes me the dress "now go have a shower and change."

After about twenty minutes I walked out wearing the dress Maddie gave me, this was way better then my pyjamas. I find Maddie sitting on my newly mad bedding, she gasps in awe and claps her hands together "I knew this was a good idea, he wont be able to take his eyes off you"

"Who wont be able to take their eyes off Alex?" Kian askes as he walks into my room with his arms crossed over his chest in protectiveness. The frown that took residence on his face makes me feel inferior to him and I couldn't help but feel very timed. this was the first time that Kian scared me so much and I finally acknowledged why the teens at our school feared him so much apart from Eddie that is.

"Stop worrying so much Kian. I simply meant everyone at school that's all. Now get out so I can do her makeup will yah!" Maddie forcefully pushed Kian out of the room, his protests audible from the other side of the door. I knew this wasn't the end of his paranoia and he would be asking me more questions. Maddie turned her attention back to me and sat me down at the dressing tables stool. this is what I hate about makeovers, the makeup. She started with my hair by drying it and curling my blonde hair in glamorous curls that sat on my shoulders then she moved onto my makeup. foundation, contour, lip-gloss, eyeshadow and eyeliner and finally mascara was added to my pale skin making me look like my mother even more then I already did. I felt the tears forming in my eyes. "Oh no you don't, I'm not spending another thirty minutes redoing your makeup." with Maddie's words I feel my tears vanish and I begin to laugh. "That's more like it, I like the happy Alex more then the mundane Alex. now look." she turns me to face the mirror and I gasp once again, my makeup and dress matched making me look glamorous yet earthly at the same time. "And last but not least, the accessories." Maddie walks over to my walk in wardrobe and comes back out holding white wedges, a clutch, a necklace, and a floral crown.

After getting ready which took approximately took an hour and fourteen minutes, Mad's and I walk down to the kitchen to find Kian texting on his phone and his mother cooking "Just in time girls, I was just making waffles."

"Hmm yummy waffles" Maddie utters as we both sit down at the table facing Kian as his head snaps up to face us.

"Thank you mam." I say to Kian's mother.

"Please dear call me Mary." I nod.

"I just texted Sam and told him that we would meet him at school in twenty minutes." Kian sates as his mother places a plate in front of all of us, the small was irresistible and I couldn't help but drool.

"Who's Sam?" I ask as I dig into my meal of waffles and berries.
