Connors PoV

Once then boys had sat down on the golden sand, they started chatting like they had known eachother for years.
"I like your accent," Connor said, "Australian right?"
"Ah yes it is." Troye said, looking down to hide the redness that had rushed to his cheeks.
"Surely every one comments on your accent?" Connor questioned, noticing Troye's blush.
"They do, but none of them have been as cute as you." Troye smirked. He squealed in surprise as Connor shoved him.
"Connah! Now I have sand all over me!" Troye complained, grinning at Connor who was laughing, holding his stomach.
After Connor had stopped laughing, he apologised and started brushing the sand off Troye's jacket.
"So what brings you to LA?" Connor asked.
"I'm not really sure, I just came and never left. I miss home sometimes but it's nice to be out here," Troye answered after thinking for a while, "what about you connie?"
Connor chuckled at Troye's names for him before answering, "I followed someone here who I though loved me, and it turns out they didn't. But I guess I just never left." He shrugged.
Troye gave Connor a hug, unsure of what to say, he whispered "I'm so sorry Connor, that sucks."
Connor just smiled, "he was never worth it anyway."

They sat in a comfortable silence, the gentle crash of the waves licking their way up the beach. Troye suddenly grabbed Connors hand and pulled him up.
"Wait what's hap-" Connor was cut off as Troye dragged him to the waves, panicking when he realised they were coming in & almost touched his black converse. Connor was laughing as they ran in and out, being chased by and chasing the waves.
They soon got tired & walked back to Troye's car. The sun was starting to set over the horizon, creating a pretty pastel sky that reflected in the boys eyes.
Connor grabbed his phone & snapped a few pictures with Troye's silhouette against the colours.
He walked over to Troye, who was still awestruck by the sunset. Connor leant his head on Troye's shoulder. They looked eachother in the eyes, blue against green.
"Ca-can I kiss you?" Troye asked, his voice quiet, barely a whisper. Connor nodded, leaning in.
When their lips met, Connor felt electric bolts sizzle through his body and butterflies flutter rapidly in his stomach.
They broke apart, grinning.
"I think it's time we headed off Connie." Troye murmured.
