I honestly didn't know what just happened.. Or what is happening. This shits getting real. I guess it just kinda kicked in that we're trapped in a city.. And can't get out.

"So what's the plan?" Sam asked.

"We stay in the school until we can find a way to sort this out." Nate said. "We should go see if there are any other survivors" he added. Fel hauled her bag around her back, and we left the room. We began searching the hallway for useful items. Like, lunch bags full of food. Speaking of food, we haven't eaten for awhile now.

"Guys, I'm starving." Felicity sighed as she kicked open lockers. "Most of them are empty." Nate threw her an apple he found.

"There. Now shut up." He said.

She rolled her eyes and dug into the apple.

"Help... Help!!" We heard someone cry coming from the call room to our left. Nate turned to the door and kicked it open.

"Hello?!" He asked. We heard a gasp.

"S-someone?! H-help!! Help! Under here!!!" A female's voice called. There was a cabinet laying over top of a girl. Nathan and I quickly ran over to it and tried to lift it up. Finally it budged.

"I..I'm Jessica." She crawled out. "My leg.. It's broken." She sighed rubbing her leg.

"Perfect, just what we need." Sam rolled her eyes.

"Do you think I asked for this?" She bopped her head forward and squinted her eyes at Sam.

"Well, I mean, you clearly could've just move out of the way. It's like an inch to your left." Felicity scratched her neck as she bit into an apple.

"Just shut up and help me." Jessica whined. I picked her up and sat her on a chair.

"Hey, I found some first aid things." Nate said as he tossed me the bandage container. He continued to go through the drawers

"We don't have the right equipment at the moment, but you're leg is definitely broken. I'm going to do all I can to keep you safe." I said. I mean, come on. We're in the zombie apocalypse. The least I could do is try and get a girlfriend. I kneeled down to help her out. She looked down at me and smiled.

"You two done with your moment? K thanks. We've got a herd." Nate said as he reloaded his gun and aimed it out the window.

"Stay put." I muttered to her as I grabbed a weapon.

"Fel and I got the bottom floor. We'll look around for things and people too." Sam said. Felicity nodded. They left the room. Nate and I aimed and fired out the window, nailing multiple in the head at a time.

3 hours pass

"That was the last one." I sighed.

"The other two have been gone for too long now.. We should go find them." Nate wiped his forehead.

"Can.. Can I tag along?" Jessica sighed. I looked around the room to find a chair with wheels.

"Here," I picked her up and say her in the chair I found.

"Thank you.. Barry." Her face turned red. Nate had left the room while I pushed Jessica along with us. I carried the chair down the stairs, kind of. Nate refused to help out. He said she was just 'bringing us down' whatever that means. She's beautiful and I want her to live and venture with us. Ew, that was cheesy. Nate aimed his gun cautiously. I gave Jessica a gun so she could defend herself.

Suddenly, we heard muffling. I whipped open the door to the library. There, with a gun pressed up against the side of her head, was Felicity. Tears were streaming down her face. Nate held his gun up to the man who was keeping Felicity hostage.

"Brian?!" I said surprised. It looked like Felicity had a piece of cloth in her mouth. She was completely bawling her eyes out.

"Take one more step and she's dead." Brian threatened. Nate stopped in his tracks. That's when I noticed a suffering body on the floor. I can see why Felicity was so upset. Her best friend was bleeding out, right before her eyes. She cried and cried. Fel tried to speak, but it was muffled.

"Why are you doing this?" Nate attempted to reason. Brian pointed a gun in his other hand towards me.

"Betrayal." He whispered with anger.

"Please.. Don't.." I said. "I..I'm sorry. I just thought you would slow us down." I admitted.

"You think that'll make anything better? Too late now. You can still save your friend.. But with a cost." He sighed. "And that cost is your life.-"

BANG

I squeezed my eyes shut, then opened them to realize Jessica had shot him down without him noticing. Felicity fell to the ground. Nate kicked his corps while he was nearly dead.

"Pathetic." He spit on him as he finally took his last breath.

I stared at Jessica.

"Well, go help Sam!" She said. Nate untied Felicity and she ran over to Sam.

"Everything will be okay!" She cried. "Barry?! Do you still have that first aid kit?!" Felicity pressed her fingers against Samantha's largest wounds trying to stop the blood flow. Nate ran in and helped her. He poured some water into Sam's mouth and forced her to swallow. "It'll help!" Fel added. I was frantically trying to get the gauze and bandages out of the box. I fixed up a wound on her cheek, then her stomach area, then her leg. Felicity and Nate tried to sit her up against a wall. Tears fell down her cheeks.

"Thanks guys.. I.. I can always c..count on you." She said as she rubbed her head.

"How are you feeling?!" Felicity asked wiping tears away.

"Pretty shitty.." Sam sighed. We've patched up all her wounds, but something didn't seem right. Jessica rolled over to where we were.

"Guys, apparently he had other men." There were armed men walking around the foyer. They looked like they were looking for something. I pushed Sam underneath the library desk and pulled Jessica out of her chair with us. I covered her mouth and crawled under the desk.

"Felicity!" Nate jumped at her to bring her down under the wide desk with us. He took her in a tight embrace and covered her mouth as they hit the floor. He laid half on top of her trying to protect as much as he could. I'm pretty sure we gathered the men's attention. The five of us sat up against the back of the desk. Nate and I were trying to protect the girls as much as we could. Footsteps sloshed around the doors to the library.

"Did anyone check this room?" One of the men said. I'm pretty sure they meant the library because Nate looked at me with a look of fear. "No, it looks empty to be. I'll still check to be safe."

We. Are. Screwed.
