*Gracelyn POV*
"Sweetheart I need you to pick up a few groceries on your way home."
"Sure Mom just let me get a pen." I searched through my backpack and found my purple ink pen. "Okay what were you saying?"
"Milk, eggs, cheese, bread, and some lemons."
"Okay I"ll be home in half an hour." Now to find some type of grocery store.
----
"Lemons, lemons, lemons, lemons," how freakin' hard is it to find some lemons. Oh yes fellow teenager I need your help. "Excuse me."
"Yes?" My Oh My. His voice sounds like liquid gold. As he turned to face me I realized the extent of his height 6'4" bare minimum, oh and that jawline tho. So sharp it could cut me...cut me.
"Do you know where the lemons are?"
"Ya, um I'll show you," he said and flashed a smile "so I'm guessing you're from out of town?"
"You guess well, I just moved here from Atlanta, Georgia."
"Really, that's cool do you know where you're going to school yet?"
"Ya some place called,.. ugh I forget the name. Something like Jefferson Carl or was it Carlton Davis High School."
"You mean Carl Jeffery Davidson High School."
"I wasn't even close", I muttered to myself, "ya that one."
"I go there!"
"That's great maybe we might end up being friends." I say smiling.
