I felt gross. I felt like I had dried mud cakes on my body. I felt nasty. I needed to take a shower. I need to clean myself of the mud caked on my body.
I moved my arm and pushed myself up. I opened my eyes and stared at the peculiar mud. It was weird mud, it had a dark brown-red tint to it, almost like dried blood. I rubbed it, tiny flakes fell off but the majority of it was still there.
I looked around and realized I had no clue where I was.
The room was strange. The walls where a bright white color. The floor was mostly white except in the places where the mud stained the floor. The bed which I had been sitting on was kinda like the table you would find at a morgue, the kind you put the dead bodies on to store them.
Then it all hit me. The mud wasn't actually mud it was blood. I had been in a car accident. I had smashed my head on something. How long had I been out for? Where was I? The questions didn't stop.
"Ooo looks who's finally up." I heard a sweet voice say. I looked up and found myself looking at the spitting image of a serial killer.
"Who are you?" My head ached as my stomach pulled itself into knots.
"Amelie, now don't talk much or Argent is gonna kill you." She whispered the last part. Caring sprinkles her face but hatred glimmered in her eyes.
"Why am I here?" I looked up.
"Ooo so you ask lots of questions now do you?" It was more of question then a statement, but it worked at confusing me.
"I am Amelie, I am not insane." It was more of her trying to convince herself that she wasn't insane as she talked, because I tuned her out after a little while.
"Amelie stop boring our guest to death." A new woman stepped into the room. Her hair was a light red color. Her eyes were emerald green and her skin was a light tone.
"Oh Sylvia why are you ruining my fun." Amelie pouted as Sylvia walked towards me.
"What are you going to do to me." I trembled in fear as she placed her hand on my shoulder.
"Oh nothing you won't like." Her voice sounded pure evil kinda like the wicked witch of the west.
"Where's Jazz?" I was pretending to be meek for the time being. I mean the less they know the better.
"Oh is she the other girl that was with you?" I was shock to see there disgust planted on each of there faces. It was like they didin't like Jazz.
I nodded slowly.
"Oh the she's in the hospital, she isn't important." Sylvia stood up and started pacing. "You are the bait." I stifled a laugh.
"The bait for what." I was trying to keep my laughter in. I wasn't important for anyone to come to me as bait. I mean no one would ever contact my mum since she's as poor as a mouse. My father would probably be drunk and Mary just plain hated me.
"For Marley." I looked at her confused. My sister left me why would they use me as bait.
"Like that would work." I again held my laugh in.
"Oh, I see. You know my dear Loral your sister loves you very much. We actually saw her get very emotional when we told her we had you." I growled well Amelie smirked and Sylvia frowned.
"Night my dear new friend." With that the two of them left me alone in my insane asylum like room to think about what they had said.
My sister was alive. I felt relief course through my veins as though it. She cares about me still. I still mean something. I smiled.Dream land
"What do you choose?" My sister stood in front of my holding a gun in one hand and a stack of money in the other.
"Depends on the situation." I studied her. I couldn't move from where I stood so I couldn't grab either. Why was she asking this question when I can't move.
"Your gonna be killed." She stared intently at me.
"The knife then." The scene shifted to a woodsy like area. The trees were dead though. There was no green.
In the middle of the area were two gravestones.
The one on the right read:
Here lies Loral Mary Granhez. She was a loving sister, warrior and healer. She was born in July 5th 2000.
The one on the left had Marley Elizabeth Granhez carved into it.
"You will die." I turned to face my sister.
"You will too." I whispered softly.
"Because you fail." I stared at her. I failed, she left me.
"You." I pointed my finger at her. "You say that I failed you." My face turned red. "You failed me." The scene shifted.
This time there was only on grave. On the grave laid my sisters dead body. Her stomach was ripped open, her eyes were placed in each of her two open hands. The scary part was that she had a smile, a deep, dark and creepy smile.
Present...I sat up quickly well gasping for breath. The dream it wasn't scary, it was the meaning that scared me.
The dream had death, disappointment and happiness all raveled into one. The smile was an unknown happiness, the graves showed the death and the disappointment was my sister. What did it mean?
I was an analyzer, my sister always teased me about it. I had always looked at myself as a big picture.
"Oh little lady." A nostalgic voice sung from behind me. Amelie was here.
"Yes?" I turned to look to see that Amelie and Sylvia stood at the door. Amelie was grinning from ear to ear well Sylvia had her arms folded.
"Oh snap your awake." She brought her finger to her head and tapped it a couple times. "I wanted to wake you up." She frowned well still tapping her finger on her head.
"Amelie." We both looked at Sylvia. "We have important news to tell dear ole Loral." I shuttered as she said my name. It was cold and chilling.
"What is it?" I don't know why but I was calm. Must be that they drugged me to numb down my emotions.
"Well, your gonna see your sister today." Amelie clapped her hands to gather excitedly.
"Yeah." My voice was dry with sarcasm.
"We're coming to get you in 30min. So be ready." Sylvia pulled Amelie out of my room. I paced for the next 30min. Saying there wasn't a clock the time felt like 5 hours. But they came back.
Amelie placed a blindfold over my head. I heard my foot steps echo off the walls when we excited the room. We walked for about 10min before they came to a stand-still. I didn't fight them, I didn't know where I was and if I did succeed then I would end up being caught. So there was no point in fighting.
"Oh little lady, we're here." Amelie pulled the blindfold off my head. I looked around to see that we were in an ally way. It was small and extremely dark. The walls were out far enough for someone small to fight.
"Now we wait." Sylvia looked at me with sympathy. I was taken back. Why would she care about me.
"What are we waiting for." I whispered as I realized my hands were zip tied together.
"For them." Amelie was smirking. I noticed that Amelie was always smirking.
"There here." I turned around as they stood up. I looked straight into ten eyes. The eyes of the one I hated. The one who left me.
