Chapter Eleven
The kiss was unexpected, Kimberley felt her heart rate quicken as Cheryl’s lips made contact with her own. Her emotions were all over the place, yet one kiss from Cheryl and it was as if nothing else in the world mattered, it was only the door springing open and Nicola walking in with a tray of food that jolted them both out of the passionate embrace.
Cheryl jumped up quickly from the bench, releasing Kimberley from her arms and creating some distance between them. “who wants food” Nicola asked, seemingly oblivious to the scene that she had just walked in on.
Kimberley and Cheryl both looked at each other in disbelief until Kimberley shrugged her shoulders. Thankfully Nicola hadn’t seen anything untoward, but Cheryl made a mental note to be more discreet next time.

Kimberley looked at herself in the mirror of the ladies toilets. “what am I doing” she muttered to herself, shaking her head and splashing herself with water.
Normally her life was so ordered, she wasn’t the one who’s life was filled with drama’s and situations, normally she left that to the other girls. She sighed heavily at the thought of how the media might portray her if they ever found out about her and Cheryl, she wasn’t used to the ruthlessness of the press as much as any of the other girl and she hoped she wouldn’t have to get used to it any time soon either.
The door to the toilets swung open and Cheryl walked in quietly, standing behind Kimberley so that the other girl could see her in the mirror. “I was wondering where you disappeared to” Cheryl said softly before pressing herself up against the older girl’s back, bringing her arms around Kimberley’s waist.
“I hate deceiving them” Kimberley said sadly, entwining her fingers with Cheryl’s, pulling the girl in closer to her. “I know you do babe, but it wont be for long. I’m going to speak to Ashley tomorrow”
Kimberley was shocked to hear Cheryl speaking so decisively about Ashley and turned around to face Cheryl. “really”? Kimberley asked with a frown, she tried to fight a small smile that had crept on to her face but failed miserably.
Kimberley’s smile was infectious and before she knew it, Cheryl was also smiling, more than she had in a long time. She let her eyes meet with Kimberley’s, her soft face and features were almost etched in to her subconscious but it didn’t matter. She could have quite happily stared at the older girl for hours if it wasn’t for the fact they should have been rehearsing with the others.

“I don’t know what you did in that toilet but Kimberley hasn’t stopped smiling since she came out” Nicola laughed jokingly as her, Cheryl and Nadine took a short break in the studios. Cheryl felt her face flush quickly at the comment but had to stifle a giggle when she noticed Nadine had also gone a deeper shade of red at the comment.
Thankfully Kimberley walked over to the group and the conversation soon changed to the impending tour and how little they had prepared. Nadine noticed to her own amusement that Kimberley had chosen to sit next to Cheryl, practically on her knee rather than in the chair on the other side of Nicola. If she needed any confirmation that Cheryl had made the right decision, it was clear to see in the faces of her two friends who looked completely happy and comfortable in each others company.
Chapter Twelve
Kimberley looked up in to Cheryl’s large, chocolaty brown eyes and gave her sexiest smile. She got up from her knee’s and collapsed in to Cheryl’s arms who was still struggling to regain her composure.
