"are we good?" Rhett asked the crew as they finished filming good mythical more. Stevie gave a small nod as Link stood up. "alright..." the shorter man coughed and walked off set. There were so many thoughts running through his head and he wanted to confess every single one to Rhett but... he just... couldn't.
Rhett followed him out and soon the crew was packed up and everything was done.
"You hungry, man?" The blonde asked as he passed by the other.
"It's like you read my mind" Link smiled "Where can we get something to eat?"
Rhett took out his phone and saw the time read 9:00 pm before pocketing it again. "There's a chic-fil-a close" He stated and looked back at the other. "If you like that kind of stuff"
"Of course, man! i love chic-fil-a and it's been a while since i've been there"
"They're only open for a little while more so let's hurry!" he said, a bit rushed and grabbed his keys.
Soon Link slid in the passengers seat of Rhett's car and waited as the confident man started the engine. "It's about ten minutes away, traffic should be light so we'll get there in time" They soon got on the main roads toward the small restaurant. Link fiddled with his hands anxiously and bit his lip, he kept thinking of things to say but he was scared that his best friend wouldn't like him anymore.
"You okay, bud?" Rhett asked, noticing that the other wasn't really talking.
"Yeah... well... no, no i have to tell you something"
"You know you can tell me anything, brother, what is it?" he asked, looking down at Link as he came to a stop.
"well, first off, let me just say that everything we have now is so surreal... there are about ten million mythical beasts and our channel is rocketing!" he paused and gave a sigh "alright... Rhett... what i'm trying to say is that i don't want that to be ruined... and... and i don't want this to come between us"
"mmhm" Rhett hummed faintly and listened, nodding to Link's words
"well... Rhett... I'm gay... I think... something like that" Link's eyes started to gloss over as he looked up at the other. Rhett furrowed his eyebrows "Gay! After everything we grew up to! How could you!"
